I have been able to taste Brown Label first hand at a BLR tiffins center not knowing the brand of coffee I was drinking. The taste of coffee at the tiffins center zapped me. I asked the owner what coffee is this and then he guided me to the brand name and eventually landed in Amazon. I have been buying filter coffee for last 1 yr and we are pure filter coffee fans in our household and never got the right mix or right taste even in the most premium brands. When I first ordered from Amazon i thought the tiffins center taste may be a distant reality if I am trying it at home, however the freshness of coffee beans and its aroma was second to none. I have been using this filter coffeee be it strong or get the right color and refreshing taste. When i was about ti give up on coffee due to poor brands in market this brand will come to you as a breath of fresh air.

I have had different brands of this combination, 80% coffee:20% chicory, but in this case the distinct fragrance of coffee is definitely missing and the coffee taste has been drowned by the chicory taste.The coffee is almost fine ground, thus it is tough to get decoction in stove top percolators.It is not value for money either, since it is almost the most expensive in the given proportion range.

This is one of the best coffee powder I have been using. I ordered 5 pockets from different brands but this one is the best.

It has a burnt smell. And the packet was tampered with tiny pin holes to keep out the burnt smell. I would not recommend this brand ever. Zero star. Its the worst filter coffee i have ever had

Good, flavorful coffee; strong but not bitter.

I was searching for a good quality medium roast in affordable price and brown label actually impressed me. I have tried some brands selling specialty coffee, however they are great but I can't afford those for everyday use. But this blend of medium roasted coffee and 20% chicory is affordable and surprisingly, it has amazing flavors, just like more expensive coffees. It has a little touch of acidity and subtle sweetness, which makes this coffee great for drinking black also. The grind size they delivered is between coarse and extremely fine, good for south indian filter and moka pot. I use a moka pot to make coffee and it created a dark brown strong coffee that has great body. The finishing is okay. It's not the best coffee I had but for the price this coffee is good.what's bad is that they only sell in a 500gm pack and you can't choose the grind size. the problem with a 500gm bag of preground coffee is that it looses its flavours over time and the last cup you make with it doesn't have the taste the first cup had.
