I use Olive oil on most dishes, & try to research the brands to find the certified brands that are real Olive Oil & not mixed with other types of oil, (Canola, Vegetable, etc) & end up flavored to taste like the real thing. I f you did not know there is a scam concerning Olive Oil which includes some of the brands that we are familiar with, Bertolli, Philip Berrio, etc. Many of the brands when tested failed to contain 100 percent Olive Oil & ends up mixed & flavored to taste like the real thing. The government of Italy & some other countries are trying to regulate the trade to make sure if it says Virgin Oiive Oil you are getting the right product. You can goole the problem with Olive Oil and see what is going on. In the case of Italy they don't produce enough oil to keep up with the demand, so they end up keeping the best in Italy & export some extra Virgin In some cases the oil is mixed. We never get the best they have. There is the regulatory code & date on the can of when the oil was pressed which you should have. This Oil has a great taste, much better that the Patterno Brand, which is certified that I typically use. Venta del Baron Extra Virgin Olive Oil is from Spain and is the best you can buy, about $75.00 a tim, which I use in Salads, etc. The best oils we have access to come from Spain, Greece and Portugal. This is a very good oil, with a great taste, & seems to be the real thing. I use it on for mots dishes excluding salads and such things. A steal for the price.

I love this olive oil, it is so rich and made from the first pressing of olives.It's very versatile as you can use it for pasta and salads .Other oils say they are pure olive oil, but they only contain a small percentage of olive oil, mixed with oils that do not promote health.Its been said that by taking only two tablespoons of pure olive oil daily can improve your heart health!It's comforting to know that wen you buy Mantova, you are getting the real deal!

I would have gone all out with 5 stars for this product because the oil is absolutely delicious - fresh tasting, no off aftertaste at all and I could not be happier with that - but my can came and it to was dented about. So, Amazon, I don't appreciate you shipping to good customers banged up products despite the quality of oil therein. Would I buy this again? Yes, I would, but I would hope that Amazon ship it without dents!

I am happy with the purchase of this olive oil.Its has a nice flavor, a good little kick and a great value.My 2 complaints, 1. the can was a bit mangled in shipping. It wasn’t properly protected but thankfully it didn’t leak.2, the spout is tiny and it’s a major pain to pour the olive oil out into daily use bottle. I ended up loosing a bit down the drain trying to transfer it.That said, it’s a good deal for a lot of olive oil and i would buy it again.

Unfortunately the can was all dented upon arrival. Better packing is needed

The freshest, best tasting olive oil I have ever had. The can completely keeps any light out preserving the flavor!

Have not tasted the olive oil. I was led to believe that it was authentic olives from Italy that this oil was made from; but the label does not indicate that one bit! Just olives! I am very disappointed in my purchase because my ultimate goal was to buy olives cold press strictly from Italy. I don't think that I got what marketing promised me! So disappointed!!!!
