bought this as a like for like replacement on my nukeproof scout 275 and i absolutely destroyed my old one.the item arrived in perfect condition and as you would expect fit like a dream, after setting up the gears i took it it for a run and it works perfect

Bought this as a replacement for another Deore derailer that was damaged and unfortunately I could not save. Good quality parts is what you expect when it comes to Shimano and this does not disappoint. They have higher grade parts but if you are putting a lot of miles on your bike and going through rougher stuff I think at this price you really can not complain about what you get for your cash.5 star as always.

Very pleased. Shifting feels light as a feather on my thumb compared to the one it's replaced and other derailleurs I've had before.

Pair with an XT shifter for 100% of the xt shifting feel, and a huge saving. will buy again

Good price, and genuine quality

This is a replacement for a failed Shimano derailleur, the second failure in the last couple of years. The derailleur's clutch mechanism is badly designed and is made of flimsy materials. Give the on/off lever a sideways knock (inevitable on such an exposed part of the bike) and the minute c-clip which retains the lever inside the clutch housing springs off. This breaks the o-ring seal on the lever allowing water/mud ingress which quickly destroys the clutch mechanism.
