Cablecc USB 3.0 HUB 4 Ports Front Panel to Motherboard 20Pin Connector Cable for 3.5" Floppy Bay

I got this to get a USB-C port on the front of my computer. Installation was super easy, I'm super happy with the looks of it, and performance is great. I've only tried it on the receiver to my wireless headset but I've had no issues

The situation with USB has become pretty complicated. I upgraded my motherboard (CPU, etc) and had a header for USB 3.1. I wanted to get a USB port that would take advantage of that header.This hub gives you ports that are USB 3.0 speeds. The included cable actually gives you USB 3.1 speed if you skip the hub and connect it directly to a device.The ad is actually pretty clear. The situation is complicated. I found that I had a single port on the back of my motherboard that is super speed. That is good enough for me.Just understand that if you want one very fast (3.1) port, you get one per USB motherboard header. (to the best of my knowledge) If you want multiple ports on the front of the PC and they don't have to be 3.1, this works great.I may actually get another cable and use the other 3.1 header as a single port. Now that I realize I have a super speed port on the back, having 4 more ports on the front is fine.

It's a good hub for the front panel. It has 2 USB-C ports supporting 5Gbps. I connected it to internal USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5Gbps) 20 pin connector.Cons1) The PCB board doesn't have Aluminium capacitors to reduce electrical surge. (-1 star)Cons2) It's not USB 3.2 Gen2. But I will not complain. (acceptable)Cons3) PCB design has been changed. The manufacturer removed several ICs and parts. (-1 star)Cons4) Windows 10 or even 11 installation image couldn't recognize this usb hub correctly. It recognizes after install but failed to recognize it correctly during installation process. I had to use rear back panel usb ports. (-1 star)Other) This hub use only 1 port among 2 ports in the 20 pin internal usb connector.

So, I have a thermaltake P3 case and it did not have any USB-C ports. So I racked my head around how I could use the spare USB 3.2 hub since my motherboard also had a 3.1. And this blew my expectations with a perfect work around! It is light and easy to mount on anything, I just used gorilla tape and wedged it in place. All ports work flawlessly, only complaint I have is the cables are a little short, about 6 inches for sata and about 12 inches for the USB, this limits how far you can put it. But can always get cable extenders, just worth mentioning if you are like me and wanted to put the hub on the back of the case and not in a 3.5/2.5 slot.

This device was simple to install....I made sure the MB would support the add-on and then attached the device to a 3.5" to 5.25" Front Bay Adapter and that was it. The desktop case also had the ability to simply mount the hub in the 3.5" floppy port as well but I chose the 5.25" bay.Updated 09/21/2021The unit failed to recognize any USBs....as a test, the same USB drives work fine in another computer. Opened the case and found all wires were connected.....anyhow, AZ is giving me a full refund so that helps

I really liked this USB Hub. Used this in my last computer rebuild. It was easy to install and works great. Be sure to note that if you are planning on installing this into a 5.25 inch bay (as shown in the photo), you will need to order an adapter. I used the StarTech Front Bay adapter.

ho comprato il modulo pensando di avere a che fare con un venditore serio, invece... speso per farlo montare e non funziona, fatto presente ho chiesto mi venisse mandato uno in sostituzione prima di fare il reso visto che devo far smontare il pc e poi farlo rimontare (cosa che mi costa altre due interventi se non ho il modulo da sostituire subito), il venditore temporeggia con messaggi su messaggi e ancora a oggi dopo parecchio tempo non ho avuto più ne risposta ne la sostituzione, pessimo direi, da evitare e soldi buttati.Appunto... il venditore specifica che non servono driver per farlo funzionare, ma il mio sistema dice chearamente che la periferica è sconosciuta e non lo accetta, quindi ...

Ottimo hub USB 3.0.da.porta.floppy ( sul case)Facile l.installazione e alimentazione direttamente dall'.alimentatore del PC. Fa davvero tanto.Ho notato un notevole aumento di prestazione delle.mie chiavette USB 3.p con questo hub alimentato da quello non.Ottimo acquisto

Das Teil lässt sich sehr einfach anschließen. Es sind sogar verschiedene Kabel für den Stecksockel auf dem Mainboard dabei (USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type C front panel connector und USB 3.2 Gen 1 headers) Das Kabel für die Spannungsversorgung könnte ein wenig Länger sein. Leider passte der Ausschnitt im Adapterrahmen von Delock (5,25") nicht ohne Nacharbeit.

Funcionó bien y es rápido a pesar de que es la versión usb 3.0 aunque me hubiera gustado que trajera una versión superior para no estar tan desactualizado a futuro (me parece que ya van por la versión 3.2)..

Pros - I like it because it's a plug & play.Cons - It's wider that I have to file my aluminum case.
