Great tool for those hard to reach jobs
Just discovered this gem(ty YT) when out of frustration and lack of a ladder, decided that taping my paintbrush on a long stick would enable me to paint my 2nd floor vinyl window trim. Before I went ghetto, I thought, what would YouTube do? Surely someone has had this prob before me? Enter Lockjaw. Not only will it hold a paintbrush, but a roller, scraper or whatever else u wanna cram into the jaws. Amazing! I now have the power to paint high places without a ladder or a grownup with actual DIY skills. Please know that while this attached easily to any paint roller extender, they will not reach a second floor without a ladder. Enter the Wooster pole. FYI the pole is 1 piece so if u have a small car or compact suv it may not fit(embarrassed much?). It does fit in mid-size and up and allows u to reach even 3rd floor windows(there’s more metal pole inside the wooden harpoon looking thing). The lockjaw screws on easily and securely...be careful of power lines tho bc it’s like Titanic-long. Makes the lockjaw super effective at getting high-jobs done quickly and easily(keep ur paint can on a plastic sheet of some sort at least 10 ft from u so u can dip, dab on plastic so no dripping, and paint the high place. Great invention and works quickly and effectively (tho leaving the store with an 8 ft harpoon is rather humiliating). Overall two thumbs up.

Made my project possible
This worked really well for me! I didn't want to set up my scaffolding on the staircase. I was able to reach across the steps using an extension pole and this attachment to hold my brush and still had excellent control and clean lines using this tool (the new wall color was not the same color as the ceiling, though it may look like it is in the photo). It holds the brush very steadily even under significant pressure - no wobbling. The only "downside" is that it doesn't fit very easily inside a one gallon bucket (though it can be done, but use a bigger bucket if you want to save yourself a little hassle). I really couldn't have done this project without this tool, absolutely would recommend for hard to reach areas!

CLEVER 'WORK SAVER'
This Woofer Tool Holder saved us a lot of work recently, when painting new fascia boards, added after new shingles were installed on our roof. We were able to use this product, added to an extension pole, to hold a 2" angled brush, on the correct angle to get good coverage of paint up & under the lip of metal trim, used to deflect rain from getting between the shingles & the fascia board. Next we used the same product, still on the pole, to hold a 5" roller, but adjusted to a totally different angle, to quickly paint the length of the fascia boards completely. All this was done without having to use a ladder, which is whole 'nuther advantage, of not having to move a big, tall, heavy ladder every six feet or so, & making countless climbs & descents on that ladder.... Using this product was simple, & helped make this chore much easier..... we were finished sooner, & the job was done effectively & looks great !! It cleaned up nicely, & is ready to use on our next painting job.

Love this!!!
Took a few minutes to figure out how to work with this (was expecting it to be foolproof), but it did not come with any directions or packaging at all. I would have liked to have had the “Wooster” name on some packaging so I know that’s what I actually purchased. Didn’t choose frustration free packaging either, so not sure what happened here. Still giving 5 stars bc once I figured it out, it’s become my new favorite tool for painting and saved me tons of money since I didn’t have to hire anyone to paint above stairs and heights that one cannot normally reach. Just added to an extension rod and it held up well and did the job.

Helps reach hard-to-reach places.
The cost is amazingly little for this valuable tool for painting inside corners and other hard-to-reach places. I used it with a brush or a roller. It's much better with a brush. It screws onto the tip of an extension pole. It started to unscrew when I used it with a paint roller and even with a brush. I wish it had some kind of clamp to keep it from unscrewing from the end of the pole. It still works well. You just have to be careful. It has lots of possible angles, but I found it a little difficult adjusting the angle sometimes. With an extension pole, I was able to reach to the top of the second story exterior and paint over missed spots as well as mistakes. It's a great help!

Overall okay, but there's definitely a design/functionality flaw when using a roller, etc. that's too heavy. The tool holder will start to unscrew from the extension pole if the tool is too heavy and is facing the direction of the screw thread (hope that makes sense). Also, the handle for the tighten on the side actually gets in the way if you're trying to get into a small/tight space. Just keep those things in mind for your project. If I had know about those issues, I definitely would NOT have both this.

Super Genius design
I've been in using this attachment to hold the tool to clean my gutters. Super innovative. I love this little thing.
