These are cute but not quite what I was looking for. I bought them for sewing and they're a little long for that. They're probably just what someone would want for a bouquet though!

We recently decided to make muslin curtains for our home. The sewing pins I was using were 1 1/2in. long, which might be fine for clothing and smaller projects. However, using the shorter pins to pin down the fabric to press and sew was quite tedious and fiddly. I wanted longer pins because they would hold down larger areas of fabric, then there would be less pins in total to remove.I picked these pins because 400 pins for $9.99 seemed like a great deal. The pins were neatly delivered in the pictured plastic boxes, which I was pleased to find are sturdy enough for continuing organization. They're considerably longer than the pins I had been using - I'm attaching a photo comparing the length of these pins with one of my older pins (yellow) on a cutting mat. The length of these pins definitely serve the purpose they were intended for, and the comparably larger pin heads make insertion/removal from fabric easier as well.Overall, these sewing pins are great for larger projects like curtains and quilts.
