It took some jiggering, but in the end this was a solid perfect fit in my T480 whose original keyboard crapped out when a key went sprong and broke loose. Lenovo construction quality is no longer what it used to be. Tip: After sliding into position at both top and bottom, using a tool to get bottom tabs under the laptop face, then if you have trouble getting screws to engage the keyboard place fingers on the keyboard surface where the screw sockets are located, and gently press while you turn the screwdriver.

I got my ThinkPad T480 secondhand and it was not optioned the way I would have ordered it new. This backlit keyboard was a perfect, very easy-to-install upgrade -- after turning off the internal battery in SETUP, I had the keyboard installed and the laptop booted back into Windows in under five minutes. Mine is exactly as shown in the seller's pictures, having been made by LiteOn. I'm very happy with my purchase.

The keyboard on my 4-year old T470 wore out and this is the perfect replacement. It appears identical to the original. The feedback, travel, texture, and overall quality it excellent. There is a good Lenovo video on YouTube which shows how to replace the keyboard. It's not quite as easy to install as the video suggests but overall it was a piece of cake. Great product.

Bought this keyboard twice, once in March and again in May. Each time one of the keys broke on the keyboard. The second one was not backlit even though description says it was. Clearly this product is not meant to last. If after 90 days, can only return by sending back to China.

Not brand new. Has a mate finish that I don't like. It's for T470 and I have a T480. It fits normally and the LEDs are in a different position because you can't see them from the front. Hopefully it will resist another 7 years.

I highly recommend this if you need to replace the keyboard on your Lenovo T 470 because you spilled cooking oil all over it.

Bought to replace the worn out original keyboard on my T480 thinkpad. Easy swap, looks and functions exactly like the original keyboard when it was new. Good price on a good product. Buy with confidence.

The backlight does not work on the unit I received. The fit was so tight I was concerned for a few minutes about product damage while installing (yes, I had the tabs aligned and inserted, etc.; the frame for this is just slightly larger than the OEM frame). Lack of backlight is a problem for me. I might be returning it. It types wonderfully so far, but that backlight...Edit: Also, the trackpoint does not work properly; touching it causes bizarre effects, like ghost clicks or something. I avoid it. I will be returning this and trying to find a true OEM keyboard. This is not viable for long-term use.
