Very strong magnet--worth the $$ if you need something this strong. If you do not need something this strong you may want to reconsider. It will pinch your fingers and HURT LIKE HECK if it gets near another one. I used to to hang a picture on a metal stud in a wall. It has not budged.

Fits my intermediate need quite perfectly. It can hold things to surfaces without much difficulty, like a magic paper weight. Larger magnets can become impossible to move, will easily snag and damage your fingers, and in my experience, require protective gloves to handle without loss of grip or limb. This magnet doesn’t sport those drawbacks. It has half the magnet power of a previous magnet I had purchase, but thats actually a good thing, not to mention the previous magnet was nearly 3 times the size, and left me with more turmoil and pain than success. In short, its great, does its job, and is really easy to work with. Will buy more.
