This is a different looking knife the cleaver it’s big bladed. I was just window shopping and saw this knife. The blade release is different a slide at the top, handle feels great in my hand and the texture helps with the grip. CJRB seems to make quality knives and the price is great.

This knife is exactly what I wanted. It was extremely sharp right out of the box and I really like the locking mechanism. It looks great and feels well made. I am very pleased with my purchase.

New to EDC knives but I like the quality and will be buying more of this brand, out of the box it was sharp, feels like a solid quality knife for the price

Been looking at upgrading the knife collection, saw this and liked the idea of the deployment mechanism. I'm a fan of keeping fingers out of the path of the blade as much as possible. I just love this cleaver. Despite the size of the blade, it rides comfortably clipped in the pant packet and the lock mechanism is so much slicker than the typical liner lock. I had purchased a similar design with a Damascus blade for quite a bit more money, returned it to try this improved lock design. I prefer the lock and money savings this knife offers me. Very happy with this purchase.

The blade is decent, but I have a couple of issues with it personally. All of which can be considered subjective.Size, feel, blade profile and overall build quality is good for the money.However, I personally don’t like the flipper, the relationship of the flipper to the recoil lock, and the excessive spring tension on the recoil lock itself.I feel that the flipper is too small, has no texture /jimping, and is placed too close to the lock, making blade deployment subpar to me.The spring tension is very high on the recoil lock, making it excessively difficult to release the lock.All subjective, just my opinion. This one will join the pile of “backup” blades for me.

Absolutely love this pocket cleaver. The knife is well made, D2 steel blade with G-10 scales that grip very well. The blade grinds are excellent, and profile the modified sheep’s foot very well. It is rather sharp out of the box. The liners are solid, and all bolt connections are tight. Wish they would of used the same size connections for the entire knife though. Scale screws are a way smaller than the pivot screw. Opening and closing is a breeze and the blade lock is rather good. The deep hide pocket clip is well done, though it’s polished metal doesn’t match the rest of the knife, but not a real issue for my own taste.Overall very satisfied with the Crag. CJRB knocked it out of the park with this pocket cleaver.

The media could not be loaded. This knife has really been a treat, and for the price is a work of art. Locking system is very nice, it feels like a crossbar but being able to hit it from the top too is super nice. handle feels solid, blade is hefty but in a good way while holding a fantastic shave sharp edge easily. Flipping has a good snappy open, flipper tab could maybe be better? but closing with the recoil lock is satisfying and the closing sound is this softer sound that is really pleasant.I don't often give full stars but I REALLY enjoy this knife, and am wanting to try the other version of the recoil lock, or maybe CJRBs button lock next! very very pleased.
