These turned out to be a decent quality and good value for money. The pencils feel very lightweight and almost bendy - which I didn't really appreciate at first as I associated it with cheap/low quality. However, I have come to appreciate their durability and flexibility and the fact that they sharpen very nicely, without a lot of splinters and breakage (no breakage at all, in fact). I think they are perfect for kids. They take a bit of getting used to if you're an older user, and they feel quite hard for things like shading - that said, they provide very nice color and withstand a lot of dropping and heavy-handedness! Recommend.

I had never heard or seen Bic coloring pencils or Bic Kids coloring pencils. I have a home preschool/Daycare and crayons, pencils, coloring pencils and markers just disappear. I like that this set comes in a case (I did get some 12 piece sets which come in a standard box that the kids rip up immediately). I gave this set to my 6 year old, and last night she complained that she isn't ready for new colored pencils yet....because these are still good. She uses them every single day at home, takes them back and forth to school and uses them for her art class. The colors are great. She isn't constantly needing to get up and sharpen them. Honestly? I am actually going to get some Bic Crayons and Markers to try out.

These have to be the best color pencils you can buy for your kids.+The material is a lot sturdier than both Crayola or any other manufacturer.+The feel is smooth+The lead is strong and you can apply good pressure without feeling like the lead is going to break.+Sharpening creates less broken lead as compared to other brands as well.+The color quality is what you can expect from a kid's color pencil.I'm so glad I found these. They may be a bit pricey when compared to other color pencils but they are worth it. They last longer and break lead a lot less. That's worth the extra cost.

They color ok, the gray is very light. Not happy that the description is misleading. I received these in a white cardboard package, not the nice container shown in the picture.

These pencils color smoothly and sharpen without breaking too much. They do break a little but they're much easier to sharpen than Prismacolor or Crayola pencils.
