HPDeskJet 2710 (5AR83B) Inkjet Multifunction Printer, Printing, Scanning, Copying, Wi-Fi, A4, HP Smart, White

I was a bit worried about purchasing this given some of the issues people had with installation so I ordered a usb connector at the same time - didn't need it. Printer was connected to wifi and up and running in minutes, it was really easy. The print quality is fine, speed is good and it's not too noisy either. Scanning and copying works as you would expect. Would definitely recommend as a good value entry level printer.

Bought to replace an ageing HP inkjet that had finally died. Does everything it says on the tin. Very easy to use, once you master the phone app though which you set it up. Prints from phones and tablets as well as laptops and desktops. PCs. We like HP's decision to build the printhead into the ink cartridge, because all inkjets have issues with the jets blocking, so this way you get a new head every time. We have other brands with a fixed printhead and if the head clogs badly it can be fatal for the printer. No automatic double-sided printing, but you can do it manually. We went for the ink subscription service as it looks good value compared with buying cartridges.

Bought mainly to print off kids schoolwork so was looking for something relatively cheap and cheerful. Read the review with many people saying it’s impossible to connect to your WiFi out of the box and thought it was probably just their dodgy WiFi...but no. It sees the WiFi and sits there trying to configure for 30 mins but never makes any progress. Did this twice and gave up and just bought a £2 cable which was luckily delivered next day. Got it up and running in 5 mins. You activate via the cable then it works fine on WiFi without it after that. As for the printer absolutely no issues, comes with ink (1x black and 1 x colour) and does everything I need. Saw reviews about speed and noise but didn’t notice any of that, if you are running a business maybe you would but for the odd print out and schoolwork it’s perfect. Scanner is good also, was a bit slow on a full colour 1200dpi but again 300dpi went through fine and very good quality. See no reason not to recommend this printer right now (only had it 3 days). Imagine I’ll moan about it breaking down in 3 months or saying how quick it goes through ink but hey...life’s too short 😁...remember buy the cable with it, worst case is you waste £2!

It prints really quick but it can take a bit of time to set up as the manual isn’t very clear and you have to download the HP app. Very happy with the print quality though. Very happy with delivery as well

Initially, the printer was easy to set up and worked well. However, the connection to our WIFI network became progressively more erratic. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn't. Then, it went off line and has been impossible to re-connect. Every piece of 'help' information get's to the point where it says 'make sure' your printer is connected to your WIFI Network...' which is precisely what I am trying to do! No matter how many times I do what I am told to do to connect, it fails. The HP Smart APP is no use at all if your printer won't connect. As the headline says, waste of money.

Decent printer in terms of print quality - smallish footprint so good if you only have a small area to store it.I’m fairly tech savvy but installing and using isn’t the easiest or most intuitive. There are some buttons down the side that aren’t always the most obvious as to what they do and because there isn’t the screen that is available on some other models, then it’s hard to troubleshoot when things don’t go according to plan.I would suggest paying a few extra pound for the better HP models with the little touch screens… the few extra £s are well spent in saved frustrations!

Arrived so quickly and was easy to set up and link to the network. Successfully printed from my phone and laptop within minutes. Good print quality. Easy to use.This includes a power cable for the printer but not one to hardwire to a PC. This is no problem for me as wireless works fine but if you plan to use without wireless you will need a cable to do that.The supplier of this product was very helpful so worth contacting if you have questions. I was very impressed with the service.
