fun game!
This listing has Soggy Doggy and Grouch Couch. I have Soggy Doggy already, and the kids really love it. I am so glad I bought Grouch Couch! It's so fun and different. Super simple and fun game for little kids to do. Even my teenager likes playing it with my other son. The couch moves and makes sound every time you push the button. Coins shoot out of the couch and the items on the couch move around. At the end, it plays a song and then you count how many items you have. The game is fun and not complicated for little kids. It's not super exciting, but it's hard for me to find easy games for my son with disabilities. Just an fyi, there is a clear small strap around the couch. At first I thought the game didn't work, but I realized I had to take the strap off. I saw some reviews say it doesn't work - they probably didn't see the small, clear band wrapped around the couch to take off. I put all the little pieces in a ziploc bag. I store the coins in the couch. Really glad I bought this.

Fun for the kids.
My kids love this game. It's great how the dog shakes. They get quite a laugh out of the dog. Easy to clean up and dry.

Cute and easy to play, but loud when the dog shakes and the water spigot drenches just the head.
I'm not going to talk about how to play the game (typical board game with die, pieces, and four mercy chips that allow you not to go back to start). What I will write about is the overall effect. It's an adorable game, but the direction of the spigot mainly drenches the dog's head and not the body. It does shake some water off, but not as much as advertised. Also, when the dog shakes, its mechanism is somewhat loud. It intimidated my 4-year old grandson. He wouldn't let us activate the shaking dog unless he was in another room. Gradually, though, he overcame his initial fear (is very sensitive to loud noises) and saw the charm of the game. He was then able to play and enjoy the resulting spray of water. He's at an age where simple games intrigue him and I think this one will grow on him. Unfortunately, one should play it outside, or have a thick towel underneath the main unit. Instructions say to fill the 'bathtub' with water up to just under the rim, which - when the dog is activated to shake - spills out and gets all over. Towels are important, unless you play it outside.Overall, for the age group, this is a very cute game.

Very fun and easy game!
My daughter loves this game! She’s 4 and it was easy to learn. ONLY DOWN SIDE was I had to google the directions because both my instructions came in a different language rather than one in English and one in a different language. Honest mistake I’m sure.

The game is ok, but had some areas for improvement
The media could not be loaded. My 4-year-old son saw a commercial for this game and has been asking for it ever since. He ended up using some birthday money to buy it and he has played with it a ton - he really likes it. In my parenting/adult opinion, the game is just ok. The concept of the game is very easy - roll the dice, place some snacks on the couch, press the arm rests and the couch may or may not release some tokens as he munches and gobbles up the snacks. The winner is the person with the most tokens at the end of the game. My ‘suggestions for improvement’ would be that the middle couch cushion that holds the tokens is very difficult to open. I feel like I might break it every time I open it. I also wish the game had a little strategy, as it really just lacks opportunity for learning, strategizing, and creating opportunities for teaching. I suppose you could talk about colors and basic turn taking, but overall, it’s a simple game and winning is solely by chance. I also wish the couch was a little more consistent with pushing out tokens. I’ve played a few times with my kids and one person always seems to get only one or even no tokens, while another person ends up with 10+. Yes, this is just a part of chance of playing games, but it just isn’t consistent and honestly, someone seems to always end up disappointed (which is the opposite feeling I’m hoping for when playing a game with a child). Overall, it’s fine, it’s ok. I’m including a few photos and a video just to provide a closer look at what to expect - hope that helps!
