Just watched the 1st disk, works fine. Ive watched this series on tv but managed to miss the very beginning of the series and thought I would see the beginning biblical stories that I missed once I receive the DVDs .but what it is, is a narration from the beginning of the Bible up to where the story begins with Abraham. I wanted to see the beginning of time. I wanted to see the story of Adam and Eve. I wanted to see the great flood. I wanted to see all of that and all you get is a narration of that. I will watch the rest of the series, of course to make sure my DVDs are working and will keep this set and will always have it to watch. I ordered it it is what was advertised and delivered quickly I might add, which is always a plus. Thank you.

I really wish they continued A.D the bible continues. Sad they didn't continue with a season 2. Beautifully interpretated.

Made A wonderful Christmas gift and was packaged well. Very nice.

We love this series. Disappointed that before it was shipped the packaging wasn't checked, or either they just didn't care, one of the cases is damaged. So when closing at the top corner gotta be extra careful or the disc will get scrathed. Expected better!!

While I haven't watched anything but the first DISC at this point, it promises to be a Keeper!!! I like the focus on the Book of Acts & the growth of the Early Church...This is a subject which, frankly, has not been explored very much? The Travels of Paul in Greece and Turkey. The Church in Antioch (which is now the Republic of Turkey.) I am actually going to Turkey in Oct. 2022, an amazing country twice as large as California!!!I highly recommend "A.D." hope that the other DVD discs are in as good quality as Disc #1 was!!Great Costumes & Sets on this Show/Film.

The directors of these series did an excellent job in portraying the books and stories of the Bible. Great actors, great narrator, and it's a classic for all Christians to have.
