Nifty little setup and would get again.
Now, let me tell you I did not get this to be used as described. I got this to modify for my specific setup. I cut the met bracket area off and I bolted this to my dash on my 2015 RZR side x side. I only used the bar and nothing else. I went on a 3 day 300 plus mile trip through the nation forest and jumped and went through tons of water and mud.It held and did not corrode nor rust and still looks new. The question is how many seasons will it last all the washings and things I take it through. For now, I love it! worth the money!

Uses factory screw to mount
The media could not be loaded. This mount is very straight forward to install. Uses factory screw under dash tray to secure it, and has some rubber pads to dampen the slight vibrations. Heavy duty steel look. I only wish it had one handed operation or a mounting knob for standard phone mounts. I like that I can slide the phone all the way over and not have to look so far across the dash to see my phone directions. Can mount vertical or horizontal. Ships with everything you need in the box except for directions, but really who needs those?

Good idea, poor execution
I passed on the $170 full dash bar that has 3 mounting points for this. A Mistake. This things a good concept for a JK RAM mount or 2 but the mounting is trash and will not support the gear. 1 screw mounting is dumb plus once it’s mounted it cover half the storage bin making it pretty much useless. I will keep it a modify how it mounts by cutting some of the mint bracket off, move it towards the wind shield and then add 2 screws with VHB tape as well. If this thing don’t mount up solid then, I’ll pitch it and get the $170 ful dash bar that actually mounts up solid.

Sturdy but needs some mods
Like many other reviews I can confirm if you attempt to mount this as is there will be a lot of play as it does not make contact in the rear with the dash. A slight mod of bending the flange portion (screw hole) down alters the angle allowing you to get a tight fit. With this mounted as described I can attest it is extremely sturdy and I attached another bar mount purchased on Amazon as I run two phones for gps/Spotify when wheeling. Even with the weight of two larger phones (Note 10 & Pixel XL) there is no rattle or movement of any kind, good piece of mind when riding topless and doorless as well. Highly recommended at a great price compared to a RAM mount.

Bounces horribly but you can implement a work around
Easy install but the metal is way too thin to stay remotely steady especially with just the one anchor point. I put some 1/8” rubber strips under the windshield side frame which helps but it still bounces horribly even on the highway (off roading/rock crawling would obviously make it much worse and running a video recorder... kind of worthless). I have cut some some black, pool noodle like foam to wedge under the phone mount and that appears to be my work around. Bottom line, this lets you install a bar style mount in a JK for multiple devices but don't expect much stability.

Sturdy and Easy to Install
Very sturdy, and easy to install. I really like that this holds my phone securely and it is easy to remove when I get out of the Jeep.

Poor fitment, design and usability
Bought this for my Dad and installed it on Father's Day. Its made of solid material, but has no adjustability, other than sliding back and forth but even that would require a tool to loosen the bracket. The phone cannot be angled toward the driver. If you want to rotate the phone from landscape to portrait, you also need a tool and have to disassemble completely, because of the design. The bracket does not sit flush on the dash, and only came with 2 "gaskets" not 3, which are just cheap double sided tape anyway, not a gasket of any kind.Worst of all, the rubber tray that fits into the cubby is unusable with the phone holder installed. It cannot be put back unless you were to cut it around the bracket. To top it all off, no instructions come with it at all. So, you're going to have to go by the handful of review videos.I've already opened and installed, but I'm going to uninstall and buy him something better/different. This thing is useless, unnecessarily large, disfunctional, and hurts the overall design and aesthetics of the original equipment.DO NOT BUY!

Not a perfect fit. (2013 JKU rubicon)
Had to mend and bend it a little to make it fit just right. It is firm and fits almost perfect now. Doesn’t rattle or shake like some review I saw. Did not pull the adhesive film off because I didn’t want it to stick to the dash. But it is firm with out it. A+ for the price.
