DEVAISE 3 Drawer Mobile File Cabinet Under Desk, Fully Assembled Except Casters, Letter/Legal Size, White

I am an architect and interior designer, I specify high end office furniture all the time, bought 2 of these for myself and expected flimsy metal for the price. I was so surprised and impressed at the high quality, great workmanship and finish. Really nice simple design, well done at any price! Lockable drawers, anti tipping caster on the bottom drawer, can fit legal or letter, compact design, and a pencil tray is included. Love these as I said. Lastly the packing was the best I have seen, the included hard plastic corner protection and edge protection as well as substantial styrofoam around the cabinet, then a sturdy cardboard box. Excellent.

I honestly wanted to spend less on a file cabinet but I am so glad I decided to spend a little more. Definitely worth the price. Great quality materials. Simple, beautiful design. Drawers are the perfect dimensions! It was so easy to assemble and was packaged very well and in a way to prevent any damages. When the pandemic started and I had to start working from home I really wanted to find a file cabinet that was exactly or better than the one I had at work and this one has the exact same dimensions! Better looking tho and even comes with a cute little set of keys haha details are important! Comes with a mini drawer organizer that locks into the top half of any drawer in the cabinet and it has the stopper at the bottom of the cabinet, in the front middle, so that your cabinet doesn't tip over when you open it if it's too heavy. More than I coulda asked for! So happy with my purchase :)

I ordered 2 of these based on the great reviews and I have to say that I can add my name to the great reviews as well. These file cabinets are surprisingly sturdy for the price and also attractive in appearance. I was greatly impressed with the very secure and protective packaging these had. Styrofoam pads, molded frames that surrounded each cabinet as well as high strength corners all intended to protect the items during shipment. It worked. Both of mine arrived unscathed and I am very pleased with the thickness of the metal they are made of as well as the design. There is one thing though. (isn't there always ?) The keys are very oddly made with a strange "joint' between the shaft and the thumb holding area and they bend at that joint. Like some of the other reviewers have stated, it eludes me why they did this. Upon delivery of the cabinets, I immediately went to a hardware store to have normal keys made and their machine could not do it because it did not recognize these as keys !! The profile had no matches in the database for key blanks. What ??? The good news is that based on some other reviews it appears that if you happen to crack your key the manufacturer seems willing and ready to replace it. Nevertheless, this is very unusual. Overall though, I highly recommend this product.

The assembly was easy just put the wheels on. From there everying went downhill.First the drawer for the files is about 1/2 in too wide for regular hanging files, but rather than fix the design, they include an attachment to put in the drawer... but only one so you have a half inch gap on the right side. It freaked my OCD brain out! They also give you other attachments to be able to hang the files across the drawer instead of going back. But then you have a gap in the back of the cabinet that is unusable without removing the files to get to it.So, I decided to put up with the side gap. I put all my files into the cabinet and got it filled with my things... then went to lock it, and the key broke off in the lock. I then tested the second key and it easily bent in my fingers. Luckily the key broke when the cabinet was open so I could get my things out before reboxing it to return. Once I removed the wheels, I simply opened the bottom drawer to put the box of parts in, and the drawer came off of the slider thing.... then the slider thing came off the side of the cabinet.... then the drawer would not close properly. I eventually got it to a point where I could put it back in the box to ship the piece of crap back.I will not be requesting a replacement.

That anti-tip caster is BRILLIANT! All the casters roll smoothly. I can’t imagine why anyone would buy a cabinet like this *without* casters. Moves easily to make cleaning behind and around the desk a breeze.Assembles quickly and easily, and looks great with my white work desk. Holds almost everything I need for my work. Drawers pull and push smoothly. Get this one because of the anti-tip roller if nothing else.

Not quite commercial quality, but definitely prefer over wooden file cabinets that require assembly. Item came with a huge scratch on the side and it is obvious it came like this from the factory since there was an attempt to cover up with white paint which did not match the rest of the cabinet. Not to mention the over spray of factory paint in certain areas. There were also random dirty spots but a wet rag took care of this. The cabinet also came with a mismatch wheel (instead of 2 wheels with locks and 2 without, 3 wheels came with locks and 1 without) - no big deal but its obvious QA is lacking.

The filing cabinate really suited my needs.

A neat,sturdy unit. Fits under the desk nicely and looks dicreet. Two single drawers with pens insert really useful. Does the job we wanted it to.
