Sakura pens are the Cadillac of pens for arts and crafts. These pens glide on beautifully, they dry and do not run nor bleed once dry. The sparkle is sublime and well pronounced. These have become my favorite pens to use. I have used them on wood, paper, cardboard, watercolor paper, cardstock etc. The most impressive is that you can use it on wood! without problems. The sparkle is clear and rich not stingy sparkle. I wish they had more colors offered in Stardust. I bought the huge assortment as well as this 6 piece set. The 6 piece set is a replacement for the ones in the large assortment since I used these stardust ones the most. People who have not used the Sakura pens have no idea that the cheap pens that they are buying are nothing in comparison to Sakura pens. Sakura pens have a finer more controlled line. They flow with ink. If peoples ink pens dry out I have found using an alcohol wipe to clean the tip to restart the pen is a good option. They have a ball of plastic at its end which also serves as a plug against air getting in there and drying them out. Other pens just have the cap only. the color is much richer than the hues depicted on the pens. But the color indicators are correct in approximating the color. I would buy this set again and have, I would highly recommend any and all Sakura pens, both this set and the larger assortment of pens, they are worth the price, and I think they enhance my artwork and allow me greater flexibility, in design and where I can put that design. My artwork deserves Sakura pens and I am sure Your Artwork does too!

WOW! I am so impressed with these pens. I'm a late bloomer, so just now, at the age of almost 60, I am finally catching up with the teenage craze/infatuation with brightly colored pens. Maybe it's just because the quality is so much better now than what was available back then. Nah, who am I kidding. I was a total tomboy, so my "OOooooo, glitter pens!" phase is just now kicking in.These are so smooth and rich in color. I love using them in the creation of my ATCs that I trade. They even work well on smooth plastic, but require a coating of a clear sealant of some sort to keep them from smearing, even after 'drying' for a full day. I have found that the clear Glaze pen is perfect for that, and gives dimension, yet still allows for the glitter effect to show through nicely.Seriously great product. Flows smoothly when not too much pressure is exerted. A light touch is definitely better for a fluid writing or coloring experience. If the flow bogs down because of damp or pulpy paper surface, just tapping out little dots of color will allow for you to fill in areas that you want to have full color coverage.

I loved the sparkle these pens added to my projects. I used the silver one the most.

These are wonderful pens which I use to add shiny touches to my own art cards. In my writing sample photo, the top two are the "glitter" pens and the bottom three are the "metallic" pens. They are true to their product description. Sakura is a long-standing reputable brand.

These colors are vibrant and perfectly sparkly and I love them. Too expensive though

These were not the least expensive pens when I was searching for glitter pen, but the quality is superior to many of my other glitter and colored pens.These pens glide over paper very smoothly and produce very shimmery lines with the fine glitter particles. Most of the colors are very vibrant. The silver didn’t show up well on white paper but would probably do well on black/dark colored paper or card.One thing to note, these are not fine tipped pens. If you’re trying to write in smaller size font, the letters will blend together a little as they did on my test paper.

the BEST pens! These pens have maximum shimmer!!! Think eighties frosted lipstick, now multiply that by 6 for the 6 different colors that come in this pack. They write fantastically and the ink flows out smoothly without being overly liquid or puddly, which should make sense if you are a pen user like I am. The blue is a deep ocean blue that is so rich in pigmentation that I didn't know a glitter/shimmer/sparkly ink could be this saturated with color and still be fully sparkly.I only bought this pack because they were drastically cheaper than the other collections when I purchased them. I wish I could buy every collection, but as much as I love pens and the creative endeavors that come from partnering my ideas with the best colored pens, I just can't justify spending $11 -18 on pens that I don't even know I will like. So, thank you Sakura, for giving this creative soul a chance to try out (and fall in love with) one of your collections. If you bring down the price on your other pen collections, I may just have to buy them all now that I saw the quality and fabulocity that these 6 pens have.

Wow, do I ever love these pens! Beautiful ink flows so effortlessly that working with them is instant meditation. I do wish there were more colors though The quality of these pens has been good for me. I enjoy doodling and I have made some real nice art work with these pens and it is great to just play around with them. One major difference between the new Stardust and the other Sakura gelly roll pens is the new cap that seems to help keep ink juicy and flowing. I wish other manufacturers would follow suit. I recommend these pens to anyone to buy or give to anyone as a gift. I think most everyone would love these.

Y pensar que estás plumas las compraba cuando iba en la secundaria a 5 pesos cada uno y 7 las metálicas. !Y vaya que me dolía el codo comprarme una! Y ahora las compro a 36 pesos en promedio... Ni hablar siguen siendo las mejores plumas en gel, nada se les compara he intentado comprar de otras y no, Gelly Roll es garantía, duran más. Casi no se tapan, sus colores son hermosos y tiene muchas gamas. ¿Quieres calidad? Compra Gelly aunque te duela más el codo.

Soy fan de las plumas de gel y estas de gelly roll simplemente son fantásticas! Los colores son hermosos, lo único malo es que la tinta deja de fluir cuando escribo por mucho tiempo, pero basta con sacudir un poco la pluma.
