It’s hollow.
I understand why people think this is smaller than expected. The body seems out of proportion. In addition, the tail and head are complete and enclosed, but the body is hollow — indeed, the whole sculpture is hollow.The entire sculpture truly weighs 6 lbs. I hope it won’t blow over in a storm — there is no way to easily and esthetically stake it down.And honestly, compared to my other Toscano sculptures, it’s not worth the almost $ 300 I paid for it. If this were my only Toscano piece, I would never buy from them again. It’s truly cheap and almost tacky, and will look even worse next to the beautiful crouching crocodilian companion I purchased earlier.Sooooo disappointed. But how does one send it back for a refund ? It was so solidly packed, I didn’t truly understand its configuration until I destroyed the packing to get it out of the box. And then picked it up with one hand……

Realistic, leg broken off when it arrived
We have over a dozen Tuscano animals in our 2 acres of gardens. They are all extremely realistic. Unfortunately, this one arrived with a broken front leg which I’ve been unable to repair despite trying multiple kinds of glue.

Crocodile
This was a Christmas present and something my husband wanted for a few years. Very nice...a bit smaller than I expected, but well done. He is happy.

This did not look like what was shown in the picture!
I have bought several pieces from Design Toscano and this piece did not have the detail and quality that is their tradition. The box it came in had no markings saying it was a Design Toscano product and it took a lot longer for delivery than usual. I am not impressed with this transaction and I will not buy another "Design Toscano" product thru Amazon.

It's a lot SMALLER than the photo.
100% NOT worth $189.00..!! My baby goats are larger. Super-mega-ultra SMALL and anorexic skinny. The photo looks large and real. It's so small the WIND knocks it over in the high desert. Does not look real. I honesty feel they sent me the wrong one. Mine looks Nothing like the photo!! Very disappointed.

Please feed the animals
I’m so disappointed in this malnourished beast. It is not life like. It looks more like a long noses leopard lizard 🦎 then a crocodile 🐊 or gator 🐊. After having the other crocodile made by them. It has so many scratches on it.
