RockDove Women's Nomad Faux Shearling Lined Closed Back Slipper

I just ordered my second pair of these slippers. I’ve been searching for a good slipper that fits just right for a long time and these are it! I have wide feet and a high instep ( higher on the left foot) and I am a size 10 1/2, which most footwear manufacturers don’t even recognize, let alone carry. I can no longer wear open back slides, as my left foot twists out of them and they become a trip hazard ( not to mention uncomfortable). I tried Mens as well as women’s sizes, never got a decent fit. When I first put these on I thought they were too small, but after an hour or so, they adapted to my feet, high instep and all, and I have been wearing them so much that I will have to wash them soon. Yes, they are washable!!! They are warm and they caress your feet. What more could you ask for? Buy these, they are so very nice.

I haven't been good about leaving reviews lately, but I had to come back on here to let you all know that these slippers are amazing! I was using my old -school Dearfoams for too long because I just didn't know what I wanted to switch to. I tried one other brand on Amazon and sent them right back. I then ordered these and I am in love with them. I am in between a 8 1/2 and a 9 and ordered the 8-9. They fit perfectly and are so very comfortable. I am going to try to make these last and will wear socks inside them all the time. I didn't with my last pair and washed them a lot. I don't want to have to wash these very often. They seem like great quality and probably would last, but I don't want to take the chance. These are great for indoors and out! I've only gone outside in them a few times for quick little things around the house. I would definitely order these - they're so comfortable and are not expensive at all!

These slippers are warm and fuzzy and I sure like them. I usually wear size 8 in shoes but my feet are so wide that I have to order a size 9 in some shoes. These slippers were size 8-9 so I decided to try them. I chose the dark grey. I couldn't believe it when they came. They fit me absolutely perfectly. They were nice and wide and slipped on the feet easily, but do not slip off. They have a nice, wide sole so you can even wear outside or around the house without getting burs or stones on your feet. Overall, they are a good value for the money.

Length of Use So Far: About 12 days.Shipping: Prompt, no problems, well packaged and not opened or previously used.Quality: Seems good, with all seams nicely finished, and sole firmly sewn on instead of glued. The outer sole is as shown, and has so far provided good traction, even on light snow with tiny icy patches.Sizing: Accurate, but I had a bit of a problem trying to sort out which size would fit me best, since there seems to be some conflicting information about sizing in other reviews. I wear a US women's size 8.5, and chose to go with the 8-9, but my decision was based on using my European shoe size instead of trying to figure out how best to order for my US size. I do normally wear slippers over socks of all thicknesses, so do consider that if you never wear socks with slippers, as it may change fit.Fit: These fit true to size; if you are a half size, you will probably want to size up, which is the general advice for half-sized feet. At first, my toes touched the end of the slipper, but within 24 yours, they had stretched enough to give me a bit more space; that extra space does allow them to slip a little bit on the back of my heel as I walk, but the slip is minimal, so I'm in no danger of walking out of them. WHILE the fit good, there are a few features in the design that might cause problems for others. I wear a standard medium-sized shoe, and I also use all the space on both sides, which makes me think these might be less than ideal for people who have wider feet or need an extra bit of space at the sides to feel comfortable--it's possible the width may stretch a bit to accommodate a slightly wider foot, but I can't know. Also, the uppers come up quite far on the foot, and stop less than an inch from the front of my leg right at ankle height, which might make them feel snug or even tight for people who deal with either periodic or chronic swelling of the feet or ankles. Finally, because they do come up so high on the foot, these are definitely not a slip-on slipper, and do require the use of the pull-on tabs at the back if you want them to be fully on your feet; stepping into them so the backs fold over shouldn't be a problem if you'd like to use them as a slip-on, though.General comments: These are a nice, warm slipper, thought they may be too warm when it's no longer really cold. The sherpa lining is nice and soft, and they do feel good on the feet. The outsoles are nice, as I have to run outside regularly during the day, even if I only need to be on concrete, and these are ideal for that. I did need to run out in a little bit of snow one day, and I noticed that the slightly thicker soles kept my feet elevated just enough that my slippers didn't get wet at all, though that won't be the case in deeper snow, obviously. HOWEVER, unlike the description, which says the sole is a quiet sole, the soles do make a clearly audible noise when walking on solid-surface flooring. They aren't loud and clackety, but if you need an extremely quiet or silent slipper, these are not that way.Reason for Four Stars: One of the main selling points mentioned in the text description of these slippers is that they are "cloudlike" due to the high-density memory foam used in the insoles. That cushy, really soft feeling didn't make it past about eight hours of wear. I don't need memory foam--an ordinary insole is fine--and it didn't play a part in my decision to buy these, since I needed warmth. IF you need extra cushioning or are looking for a slipper with a very soft inner sole that's going to stay that way and continue providing memory-foam cushioning for your foot, these are not the right slippers for you. The memory foam was great for the first day, but by the evening of the second day of wear, it had apparently forgotten it was memory foam and was no longer offering extra support or cushioning.I am happy with the purchase for the price paid.If problems should come up, I will update with details.

These slippers are so comfortable! The fit is perfect as I am a size 9 and ordered 8/9. There is plenty of room for even a thicker sock and they are easy to take on and off. I love the sturdy soles so I can wear to grab mail or take out the garbage and not worry about getting the sides dirty or wet. For the price, these are a winner!

I wear a 8/8.5 shoe so I got the 8/9 or 39 shoe and they fall off my feet. I can wear them if I shuffle around to keep them on. I should have sized down but I was afraid they wouldn't fit and still am, so, I kept these and I can wear them with sox's except I don't like wearing sox's with slippers. They are soft and comfortable and good quality, it is just the size that gives them 3 star rating. I hope they will shrink when I wash them. If I get another pair I defiantly would go with the size down. UPDATE 12/28: I ordered down to the 6.5/7.5 and they fit perfect. Defiantly order a size down. Much more comfortable and don't fall off my feet. The issue I had this time is that I wore them for 2 hours and noticed a 1.5 inch hole in the fabric on the side of the foot. Didn't want to bother with returning them, so I sewed the hole up. With all that said, I will never buy these again. Update: after wearing the second smaller pair, I am having the same problem as the first pair. They stretch out so bad that I can't keep them on my feet. I already went down a size and they were good at first but after washing them, they just fall off my feet. Won't by again.
