Verizon customers beware
I could not get my case to connect and after much investigating found some info stating that for some reason Verizon based a71 phones aren't compatible with smart cases. you will not find any menu for them in the settings. there's not a lot of info out there and I could be wrong but what I read explained why I couldn't make it work and the lack of settings menu options backed it up. I've had a smart wallet case in the past for a galaxy note and I liked it but why they make wallet cases for models of phones that aren't all compatible was frustrating. I guess I can thank Verizon for that though

Galaxy A71 5G S-View Wallet Cover, Black is listed by Samsung as compatible with Galaxy A71 5G (US Cellular) and GalaxyA71 5G UW (Verizon).While it is very easy to insert the Galaxy A71 5G UW SM-A716V(Verizon) into the S-View wallet cover, it requires a lot of manual dexterity to remove the cellphone from this case. Wear and tear is rapid. In less than two weeks, stress fractures appeared at the bottom reliable, rounded, side protection of the wallet cover. The best feature of the S-View wallet cover is the side cut-out that allows easy access to the Galaxy cellphone side buttons. There is no interference because of the side button variations associated with the Verizon branded Galaxy A71 5G UW (SM-A716V).There are no instructions on how to implement the S-View feature of the wallet cover. If you reboot the phone in the wallet cover, the S-View feature is activated. However, opening the cover does not let you access the phone. This means, removal of the phone from the case and doing a hard reboot. In Settings/Accessibility, there is no listing for the S-View wallet cover. Therefore, you can neither configure nor access the S-View feature.The problem with the implementation of the S-View feature is apparently unique to the Verizon branded Galaxy A71 5G UW (SM-A716V). Oh Verizon, how could you be so mean and why would you suppress a charming S-view wallet cover feature?.Given the cost of this case and the name brand manufacturer, a basic quality expectation is that this product works flawlessly out of the box and has basic instructions for use. Yet, in spite of its warts and annoyances this S-View wallet cover, it is one of the few available cases that fit the Verizon branded Galaxy A71 5G UW (SM-A716V).Galaxy A71 5G S-View Wallet Cover, Black is a useful case which is the best of the barely existent.

Not really white, but nice!
Was having a hard time finding a plain cover for my phone. Finally found this one. I wasn't to excited to get white though. Turns out, it's a light lavender purple, not really white. But I like it, a lot!!!

Worn out after only a year
This thing is expensive and doesn't last long before it soils and looks ugly inside. Hard to clean the inside area. It does protect the A71, however. I wouldn't purchase another one unless the price was cut 50%.

The magnet doesn't work, so it does not stay shut.
The magnetic function doesn't work. That was the main feature that got me to order this.
