Very little guidance on the package, dubious quality.

This replaced a 22 year old unit in my boat. I modified it a little to make it more marine friendly. Coated the bare metal to help fend off corrosion. Smooth and quiet operation.

Power antenna has failed in less than two months. The one-year warranty is worthless as the manufacture requires it to be returned to authorized seller. Amazon is an authorized seller but only accepts returns for 30 days. To access this antenna on my Silverado is about a 5-hour job to take off and re-install the fender and all the work that involves. how impressed could you be with an antenna? this one works, goes up and down, radio reception is good, can't complain for the price if it lasts a couple of years. It is a little, really, just a little more noisy than the factory antenna, but it costs less than half the price, so I am ok with it.
