No more manual peelers
Very impressed with this electric peeler, it performs repeatedly, it is easy to use. It is very simple to clean, very sturdy, would like the cord to be a little longer but it peels thee potatoes fantastically and without skinning my fingers.Good size, reliable, extremely cost effective

I wish there was a 10 star review.
Yes o have a lot of kitchen gadgets but I do a lot potato cooking. The worst part is the peeling besides I'm just not coordinated enough. This is a must have for the top couple of reasons1. Battery operated !!! ( unplug cords or battery won't work )2. There is hidden compartment under the unit that has extra blades that you'll need.3. Though the advertise potatoes. Works amazing on apples4. The clean up for a one piece peeler is amazing g5. There is a cool trick you can do to make curly fries or hash brown . Peel the potatoes with the machine then do more runs where the flesh is exposed really thin and amazing. My housekeeper saw me using it and was amazed that this tool exists. This is THE kitchen must have tool. After about 1000 peeled potatoes the unit finally broke I had to have another one the next day

Easy to use effective.
I purchased mine 6 years ago. It works great. Recently purchased one for my granddaughter because she was always borrowing money. Mine still works great.

Did not work upon arrival!
I give this one only because I can not rate it with zero stars: since it arrived in non working condition; with either option of battery or plug in .. leaving it clearly the ”machine’s” issue. My husband had to disassemble the product and solder wires back together that run the switch to the motor. Then did a multi meter check on the rest of the wiring. I would have never guessed paying $47.00; would this be completely plastic all but the actual blade. You would think companies would pride themselves on a decent sturdy product but instead we are left with failure to produce decent quality products.

Works great!
I purchased the Electric Peeler as a gift for my Mom, who has arthritis in her hands, making it difficult to peel. She is over the top excited with this Electric Peeler.

Too slow but does the job
The idea is there but it takes quite a while to peel a potato. It does adjust high and low and it does peel just about anything. My only issue is it’s slow! We are putting a bigger thing in it so it goes faster

GOOD PEELING MACHINE, SAVES TIME
I don't get the bad reviews on this product. Are people really expecting a perfectly peeled item from head to toe? No, sometimes it's not perfectly peeled at the bottom and the top. I can do that by hand much quicker than if I had to peel the entire item from top to bottom. It does often make ridges in the product which some people have issues with. I don't see why. If you're going to boil a potato, for example, and mash them you're not going to see any ridges. If you cut them for french fries, the ridges make the potato look interesting and hold the ketchup well. If you're slicing them, then the ridges disappear entirely. Don't get put off by the way the item looks when it's done because after you cook it, it won't actually make any difference. It saves a ton of time if you are cooking large quantities of something that needs peeling. The blade might stop working quicker than you expect if you are using it on a mushy item. Clean it and try to use food that is not starting to go soft. You can get a lot of uses out of one blade. Doesn't take up a lot of counter space either.

Hand crank v automatic crank
My daughter had used a crank peeler for many years and when she had a really lot of apples ( it's fall in Ohio) to process-gears gave out and sacks of apples left to do. I have Amazon's Prime now(didn't for years- thought it wasn't worth it-but was I wrong) so we just looked up peelers, ordered and wham bam, it was in our house next day. It was an electric powered one and it's used a lot now. End of story - apples peeled and put away for winter! ps. Great for kiwi.
