They are sturdy and feel secure when full. I tried wine boxes but the sizes vary and typically the cardboard is bashed in or thin to begin with.These boxes are not weak at all. Super thick material. So thick, I imagine stacking is no issue with these. The Banker's Box style construction gives a double wall on the handle side which strengthens them even further. I will be packing these in the back of my car and moving across the country with them. If I have any problems i will certainly update this review.One problem I had (which does not reflect on the product itself) was the shipping packaging. 5 of these are tethered together with cellophane and tossed into a much larger box without any padding. The top corners of most of my boxes were smashed in. Disappointing when you spend $35 on. . . boxes. But regardless, the product is great as it is still structurally sound. Lid still fits, and the interior fold up flaps still protect the contents.l anticipate getting years of use out of these. $35 is a steep price for cardboard, but these boxes will serve you well. I feel they are worth the price for piece of mind alone. While my collection of music is not super rare, I do cherish it and felt very comfortable packing my vinyl in these boxes.

We inherited a lot of records (full size records) from my husband's father. They boxes are nice and thick. I filled the with the max amount of records (I forget the number) and they are sturdy to hold them. I then stack them 3 high in a closet to store them. I have no doubt they will last for a long time. They were easy to put together. I believe the company has a video on YouTube that shows you how to put them together. It is like putting a banker box together. These are the perfect size for records, and easy to assemble. These were perfect for the job I needed.

Worked great for moving my vinyl records. Note that some records these days that come in boxed sets will not fit normally. I had to use these boxes sideways, with the lid on the side and then write UP arrows with markers. Not ideal, so if you need to move those kinds of records maybe shop around.

Very useful, very sturdy. Easy to assemble. The box won't fit in Ikea Expedit, just tiny bit too big. I just wish they were a bit cheaper, but I can recommend it.

I have literally used these boxes for years they were moved stored disassembled packed flat shrink-wrapped and then reassembled after sitting for a year and a half. Every single box is perfectly sturdy as strong as it was in the first place and absolutely value for the dollar. I'm only writing this review now after having not bought the same brand and found boxes that will not even fold together initially without popping apart spend the extra money by the bcw's trust me.

Easy to put together. Shipped with no damage. I question the sturdiness though. But it’s good enough for semi long term storage. I just wouldn’t want to be moving these around to often.

These boxes fit 12" vinyl perfectly. I have quite a lot of vinyl and they are all sleeved. These boxes are very sturdy and fit perfectly. I just wish they weren't so darn expensive.

I like these boxes a lot. Much sturdier than standard bankers boxes but, more importantly, they are built specifically for 12x12" vinyl record sleeves.The tops are sturdy enough to stack but I only stacked them "two high" as I did not want to put more weigh on the bottom box.I used 10 boxes and they all made it through a professional move with no issues. Although I made sure our movers knew what was in them(!) and labeled as fragile, vinyl records.They are currently storing my record collection until I can get a proper wooden cabinet but I would not hesitate to use these as storage TFN. They are made for the job.

I've recently started collecting vinyl again after selling my old collection at a garage sale 35 years ago. As my record collection is rapidly growing, I needed something safe to store them in. These boxes are terrific, sturdy and strong. My albums are well supported, which should keep them from warping. I purchased a pack of 5 and I'm on my 3rd box now. Highly recommended if you need a good storage solution for singles, gatefolds, and box sets!
