Great graphic novel full of lots of interesting information!
Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book at no cost in exchange for an unbiased review. This four-part graphic novel follows sharks (and some other aquatic animals) through time and shows how they interacted with each other and with certain land animals. The visuals in this book are beautiful and it was full of great information about what was happening on our planet from 400 million years ago up to the present. It would be a great addition to any child's library, or for anyone who is interested in learning more about ancient animals. Take note if you have very small or sensitive children, this graphic novel is about predators and does show some very mild gore i.e. sharks eating other animals and some red/blood stained water. That being said if you or your child love dinosaurs or sea creatures, this is a great book that you'd both enjoy.

Educational, entertaining, and beautifully illustrated...
Sharks: A 400 Million Year Journey by Ted Rechlin is another great educational read for children everywhere. Sharks are world known and an interesting topic. Here, I got to follow the history of sharks and learn about the different species as well. The pages were bright, colorful, and engaging. The book reads like a comic book but the illustrations are amazing. Overall, I recommend this stunning book to parents, guardians, and teachers.I received this copy from the publisher. This is my voluntary review.

For kids (and adults) of all ages
I'm studying marine biology, with a focus on shark biology and conservation. I got a copy of this graphic novel for free, but I gladly would have paid for it. This is simply wonderful! I especially love how the novel is categorized into the different eras. Not only does this novel speak about various sharks and their history, but it also talks about the very real issue of the human impact, and why sharks are important.I believe that anyone, of any age could benefit from this piece. It is very well done, and I look forward to sharing it with my less-than-enthusiastic about shark friends.

Educational and Beautiful
My eldest (5) received this book as a gift and immediately after unwrapping we put life on pause and dove it. We finished in a single sitting. The illustrations were wonderful, and the comic book style kept both of my boys (youngest is 4) thoroughly entertained.Parents, be prepared, there are some hard to pronounce names in this book!

Such a good book! The pictures that accompany the text makes it so easy for kids to understand. They really like comics so the comic style font was really engaging.
