I have used this ramp for my dogs for a while now, and have been extremely satisfied. It is light, well designed and built, wide enough for bigger dogs and handles their weight easily (100-150 lbs) and has made life a lot easier for me and my dogs as they get older. They were hesitant at first, like most dogs, but quickly adapted to it and enjoy the comfort going up and down. It sets up instantly with very little effort.Note: This works best with rear compartment access or vehicles with wide rear doors, like crew cab pick-ups. It can be limited and not work properly on vehicles with doors that don't open fully. Limited opening doors hinder the ramp legs from laying down properly on the door step and can become a hazard for the dogs, or even scratch the interior of the vehicle.

This product is perfect for my 125 lb dog. Sturdy enough to handle his weight, big enough platforms for him to stand and folds into several angles to allow access to different vehicles. His paws don’t slide at all and he uses it to get up and down. I tried several other brands/styles that simply didn’t work. This one is worth every penny.

I debated between ramp vs. stairs for getting my older dogs into the car because they avoid both options. Based on other reviews, I chose these stairs, and they are working out for us very well. It took a little training, but both dogs are using it easily. The additional width of each stair as well as the stairs not being steep are ideal. I have a Rav4 and the stairs sit securely on the rear hatch opening. My dogs are GSP's (50-60 lbs) and the stairs are sturdy for them. They fold and unfold quickly and easily - it's never a hassle to use. Storing them in the car is the only downside, but even that isn't too much of a problem. Folded up, they are 6 1/2" by 17" - not super small, but they do fit between my driver's seat and the folded down back seat. I've been using them nearly every day for a month, and still think it's a great product.

We were at a park and saw a man with 3 dogs and a pick up truck. His dogs went right up the stairs and into the back of the truck easily. He recommended the stairs as he has used them for over a year. We purchased them for our 11 yr old lab to be able to come along in the suv again. He loves to go for a ride but can’t manage to get in the car any longer with his age and back legs bothering him. It took a couple of treats and coaching but he goes right up then now. He is 86 pounds and these are super sturdy. With the clip and rubber on the handles they don’t move at all when he goes up or down them. They fold quickly and easily and are not heavy to move around or keep in the car. Thanks for giving our pup back some joy in his later years!

Works great! Aluminum makes the collapsible stairs light weight and provide sturdiness. It holds my 135lb dog just fine. I wouldn't step on it personally because with a dogs, the weight is distributed to different steps and not just one. The product is great BUT, the inside of the step seems to be made of thin wood. The step slides around and can cause harm to your pet if not fixed. I fixed it by securing the step to the frame(the 3 screw on in the picture). If you have a dog 65lb and under I think you can get by without securing the steps. Very helpful product if you have a heavy dog.

This set has really been a lifesaver for me and my canine friend. He weighs approx 80lbs. I took my time the first couple uses to approach it so neither one of us were tense or apprehensive. The ease of carrying, setting it up, height and weight is perfect for us. I placed the steps and tested them by stepping on stairs to ensure no wobbling. I used treats to coax him up & down stairs. After 3 or 4 uses, easy easy. He walks right up and down these stairs with ease. One thing I did do is add red relector strips at the edge of each stair to help him see the edge better since they are all black stair pads. My dog is about 12 yrs old so it was important that he feels comfortable and can sew where to step. The stairs are covered with a non slip style material and have held up well over the last year. I have an Acadia SUV style auto and no matter where I utilize these stairs (asphalt, concrete, grass, sand, dirt) I can get Buddy to use the stairs without wobble. There are thin foam pads protecting base and on the back side of the frame so your car isn't scratched. They also have a carabiner on the top step to hook to the car's lock mechanism for rear hatch style vehicle. I'm so pleased and highly recommend!

I have an older German Shepherd that is 120lbs. This is the only way I can get her in a vehicle. It’s very sturdy and she isn’t afraid to use it. I have tried a couple of other steps and a ramp, but this is the best one! I totally recommend it. It’s light and easy to use.

Sturdy, attaches to the rear of our SUV for stability, and folds up to a reasonable size for transporting it with us. After trying several other ramps and stairs, we finally found one that works well.
