Daelmans Stroopwafels, 8.11 Ounce Tin, Pack Of 2

I’m very pleased with this selection!!!

These are a great little treat that I’ve became obsessed with. This is the brand that I purchased in Trader Joe’s a while back. They crunch a bit and there’s just the right amount of caramel inside to be yummy 😋. The thin waffle cookies don’t have a lot of flavor…..just enough to make it taste good for me. It’s not a real sweet because bite. There are 8 in each box. The price is pretty much the same as the store. I bought the tin the first time and the box after that. I can reuse the tin. The boxed ones are a bit cheaper. YUM!

I love them. The tins are so cute and reusable. I got them so I can have my stroop waffles out with my coffee but alas, my cat got into them still! He is nothing if not persistent. The tin is a snug fit for larger stroop waffles (I didn’t realize they came in multiple sizes) but if they don’t have a bag around them when you put them in, even regular sized stroop waffles will fit inside.

Imported from Holland, they were pricey but delicious. I was expecting the waffle to be crispy which may be the case when freshly baked. The waffle was chewy but still a treat. Definitely for special occasions.

These cookies are amazing. I only wish I could find them cheaper at a grocery store as the price is a bit exorbitant, however once you're eating them it's like nothing else. They are pleasantly chewy with a nice thin spread of caramel, not dripping as the picture may suggest. You taste the butter, you taste that hint of vanilla, it's created to perfection. It's one of those tastes that you want to weave into your memory and look back on and say "oh man, I remember growing up and having these delicious cookies..." ok Im too old for that category but maybe my kids will as it's really such a yummy treat. I first had it on a flight and have been hooked since then. The whole family young and old goes bonkers for it! It is very enjoyable, try it, I promise you will love it!

I ordered these Stroopwafels as a birthday gift for a friend. When they arrived, the package was opened and the caramel had all melted and the entire package was one big blob. The order could not be replaced so I got a refund but now I have to order a different birthday gift which will be late.

Ordered these because the tin was pretty but it is not the same and is a disappointment. Hope the cookies are good since these were for a gift.

They're delicious with coffee, be sure to heat them slightly prior to eating (you can use the steam from the coffee cup!!). These made a great accessory to Christmas gifts, arrived undamaged. Once the tin is open, the plastic holding the wafels is actually not tightly wrapped at all, which makes me dubious about what's in these wafels that make them last this long (or maybe I don't understand enough about wafels and preservatives).
