Affordable, high-value and nicely finished!
This is an automatic watch by Orient. This watch is consistent with other Orient watches I own, affordable, accurate and high-value. This comes with a sapphire crystal, in-house movement, 120 click unidirectional bezel (I think aluminum insert) and 200m water resistant screw-down crown. The watch features a date function and it’s hackable. The crown at the 4 o’clock position adds to the ergonomics and comfort of this watch. I was a little concerned it might be too big with it’s 43.4mm case and a lug-to-lug of 51mm (and I have an ample 7.6” wrist) but it absolutely isn’t. This watch definitely wears more like a 42mm (my sweet spot). I chose the Pepsi bezel style and love it. The lume on this watch is also pretty good. My only gripe (and it really isn’t much of a gripe) is the bracelet it comes with. It was easy to adjust and was moderately comfortable but a little too “rattely” for my preference. So, I swapped it out with a black Orient silicon band that I had from another watch and now it’s perfect. Oh, and the bezel and date function line up perfectly (little details like that drive me crazy if it isn’t just right).I was originally torn between this and the new Orient Kamasu but I’m glad I chose this one. So long as their quality control is consistent, you won’t be disappointed with this watch (also a lot cheaper than a Seiko SKX these days).

Almost the perfect watch!
Almost everything about this watch is perfect for me! It has the sapphire crystal, beautiful finish, smooth second hand movement, great water resistance, and the right weight that I look for in a watch. It truly feels like an heirloom piece that I will have for the rest of my life. My only issue is with the bracelet. It has a great finish and the clasp functions perfectly. But it’s kind of squeaky. It’s hard to explain but every time I move, the bracelet squeaks. I’ve thought about spraying the entire bracelet with WD40 to see if that helps but was worried about the cleanup and residual residue that would remain. I’m thinking about just replacing it and the fact that it’s a 20mm lug width means that there are tons of options! I have a $650 Citizens PCAT that I love but it has a weird 23mm lug width that really limits bracelet/strap replacements.

An Incredible Value!
I have been wearing the watch regularly now for six months. Thus far, I've had absolutely no problems and have only experienced reliable quality. The timepiece is solid, durable, and tastefully attractive. It is a worthy - actually superior - replacement/successor to my old Seiko SKX009. The dial is classic and well executed down to the smallest detail. There are only two minor negatives. One is that the bracelet quality could be a little better. It is generally hard-wearing and complimentary to the watch itself, however, it is still the typical "just okay" bracelet which usually accompanies Seiko and Orient wristwatches of this basic price range. The other is that the watch does run a bit fast. It gains approximately one minute per week on average. Again, both of these cons could easily be considered nitpicky. In summary, the watch is an incredible value. You are offered a high quality, sapphire crystal equipped automatic wristwatch from a renowned and well-established manufacturer at a bargain basement price.

Very impressed so far
My first automatic watch, and it has exceeded my expectations. Orient watches were recommended by Chris Schwarz to his woodworking followers and customers. I follow Chris and have bought books and tools from him. Without his recommendation I probably wouldn't have been aware of them or considered one.I considered a Seiko 5, and I'm really glad that I chose this watch instead. It looks better to my eye. The fit and finish is great, and the accuracy of the watch has been very good. I really like the look of the watch--it is very nice. Some reviews that I read mentioned that the bracelet is a little cheap compared to watches that cost 10-100 X more. But I find that it seems pretty solid, and I don't feel like I need to upgrade on the bracelet at all. It is very comfortable, secure, and looks great! If I wear the watch it rewinds itself fine. Once I left it off of my wrist for 3 days and it stopped. I find that in 3 weeks of wearing it, it might be off by a minute or two. I just sync it to the time on my cell phone.

Cheap bracelet!
First off the watch I received was not a NIB item. This was either a display piece or an open box return. All of the plastic protection had been removed. There were no extra links to properly size the bracelet. Luckily it just barely fits.As far as the watch goes its main con is the cheap and flimsy bracelet. I will be getting a solid one as soon as I can.Other than the bracelet this is a nice watch. Bezel alignment is correct. The dial is a beautiful royal blue with a textured sunburst effect. The lume is outstanding. Accuracy seems to be within spec. The bezel has good a good grip and the action is ok. Some backplay and a little crunchy. The bezel Insert is ok but I will swap it out with a lumed ceramic one. The sapphire crystal adds a nice dimension and helps the light bounce off of the applied indices and hands. The crown and stem seem a little finicky but might just need a little more use to break in.Over all this is a nice watch but could be better. It does offer a good value for the price point.

Love my Pepsi Orient!
After doing a pot of research and see so many positive reviews, articles etc on social midias I decided to buy this watch for a very attractive price on Amazon ( I believe it was the last from the original vendor). Love it! I have quite a few watches and this one has been on my wrist most of the time. I get compliments from work colleagues and sometimes even strangers! The quality is obvious as soon as you open the box. I recommend very much this product.
