These were the perfect chocolates for my pirate themed Halloween. Kids absolutely loved them and they really helped fill out the treasure chest in an awesome way. Admittedly, a large treasure chest takes about 6 bags, so that gets pricey fast, but for me, it was well worth it. There's a ton of different designs and I love both the foil embossing on the foil and the chocolate. They're little oh so edible works of art! I did manage to try a couple and I have to say the chocolate is Grade A yum and creamy. Here's a Sea Shanty to ye all! May the winds of fortune always prefer yer sails to that of the scallywags chasing ye!

These worked perfectly for my treasure chest cake! I was pleasantly surprised on how delicious they were. Best chocolate coins I've ever tasted!

My daughter had a pirate themed birthday, we put these and pirate booty in her goodie bags instead of any other candy and the kids loved them! Stamped like real gold coins!

Chocolate flavor was just average. Was hoping for superior flavor for the price. Probably wouldn’t buy again.

These were the only pirate themed chocolate coins I could find when I was putting together a Christmas gift for my husband—a pirate's chest filled with rums that I infused with different flavors, chocolate gold coins and nuggets, and dice "jewels." He loved it! When I was searching for the coins, almost all I could find either looked like American currency or had menorahs on them. This pack was a little more expensive than I was looking for, but since they were the ONLY pirate coins I bought them. They taste great at least.

The chocolate is high quality but not 30 bucks a pound good. Also it is implied there would be equall number (or close to) of gold, silver, AND BRONZE coins. That is why I was willing to pay (not just quality). Yet when I dump the contents of the bag out there a total of 5 bronze coins that were on top, and 50 or so of both the gold and silver underneath. Ill be using reeces' thins instead though Im sure many will prefer them to the silver and gold coins which is not the point but whatever. Disappointed for sure.

Foiled again! Chocolate coins are good tasting chocolate, a really milk chocolate taste and I appreciate that they are true to their theme. I ordered this for my daughter's pirate party.They were meant to be stuffed into a shark pinata but they were no match for this hot humid August and I decided to tempt nature and ship chocolate during the summer. Foiled again! Tried really hard, this bag was wrapped, put in between two sand bags, packing peanuts and one of those insulation bags in a box and they still melted. I threw the bag in the fridge for a day but we wont be able to use them for their intended purpose. Which means we get to eat them and the kids will have some other candy. 5 stars for good chocolate and good packaging. Just dont order these in the summer.

The shipping and service were wonderful—the coins came packaged with ice packs to keep the chocolate chilled.The flavor is wonderful, but more importantly, they are pirate themed (which are surprisingly hard to find with all of the holiday or JFK themed coins out there). I do a Neverland meet-and-greet with kids, so these are the perfect Capt Hook-approved treat! There are about 40-50 coins in the pack, so I did have to supplement them with gold foil Reese’s and WinCo chocolate coins.Bottom line: next time I do an event, I will definitely buy these again!
