fiber pens 1.0mm
I purchased the Staedtler triplus fineliners for coloring and while they were good for small areas, I did not enjoy using them to color large areas. I decided to purchase the Staedtler triplus fiber-tip. The 1.0 mm tip makes it great for coloring a larger area. The great thing about Staedtler is the 2 different packages basically match each other so I have fine and medium tip. The fiber tip applies nice, bright color but can pill if you go over a section too many times. They come in a plastic casing so it makes it easy to travel with.

Great Markers, but they could offer selective purchasing options.
Best alcohol-based fine point marker I've been able to find. They are vibrant and long-lasting. It's also very helpful that Staedtler sells broad point markers which match in color to these, so that you don't have to try to fill in a large amount of space with a fine-tip marker. I wish Staedtler would make a finer version of these to help fill in smaller spaces. Also, I find I tend to use certain colors more than others, which therefore go dry before the others, but you can't replace or refill specific colors you have to buy another set, which leaves you with a large number of markers you don't often use.

I love this set!
These are everything I wanted them to be. I'll give the caveat that I didn't buy them for coloring, and so haven't used them in that way. I have large writing, and always found the Staedtler fineliners much too thin for my writing. When I noticed these I thought they would be the perfect 'next level' point size for marker print, and they are! Gorgeous colors, and fine lines - no bleeding or smudging the way cheaper thin markers do. They are more expensive, but the quality is there. The additional neons are also really cool, Im so glad I got this set that includes them instead of the normal set that doesn't.

Wish there were more colors.
very nice pens. I really love the way the color looks on the paper, I use these and the Stabilo 68 pens a lot and I just like using these better. But the color pallet is very limited, a single Yellow is simply not adequate. I did recently discover that there seems to be a twin-tip version of this same thing that comes in 72 colors hopefully those are much a joy to use as these.

I prefer the paper mate flair pens. These do ...
I prefer the paper mate flair pens. These do not have that pen feel when you write. The ink is a bit all over as opposed to if you were using a pen, as it is supposed to be. It also fluctuates depending upon which color you choose to try.

NEEDS MORE COLORS PLEASE!
Love the pens! EXCEPT! It's a pet peeve of mine that the fiber tips do not come in a pack of 36 like the fine liners! For me the whole idea of getting both sets( fiber tips & fine liners) is to have matching colors for the much smaller areas, corners etc...that the fiber tips don't ! I like that they come in a more compack box, though the hard plastic container of the original set is better and more sturdy! And the other problem is that the 26 fiber tips cost more then the 36 fine liners! But they are still a well made pen , perfect for coloring!

Nice Pens For Filling
My wife uses these in her adult coloring books for the larger, filling areas. She's happy with them and says they work well.

Nice, bright colors and great for adult coloring books
Nice, bright colors and great for adult coloring books. They do not bleed through most papers. I really love the choice of colors offered.

Long lasting. Versatile. We love day glow. No peachy pink.
My 5 year old is an avid and obsessively precise (-she corrects my colouring and I thought I was obsessive ) colourer and these pens have done her proud for about 6 months. Only now are some running out and she colours large areas with them daily. I think the slim shape makes it easier to see where the nib is than the berol ones ( berol have the advantage of a fat and thin option for each colour though) or the Crayola super tips ( tips a bit fat, taper too shallow). The triangular barrels stop these rolling off the table . We have particularly enjoyed the fluo colours. My only gripe is the lack of a peachy kind of flesh tone. Don't get me wrong, I love our Afro carribean Elsa and Annas (And the lurid day glow pink skinned princesses) but occasionally she would like to add a paler princess to the mix. I think the bigger, superfine, Johanna basford set might have such a colour but I'm scared at how meticulous my daughter might become with superfine pens!

Good Quality and Good Value! Perfect for Children or Adults!
These pens are great value for money! I bought these for use with a Johanna Basford colouring book. I found them to be ergonomic for long colouring sessions and the colours are quite vibrant. There is also a nice variety of colours to use. They aren't as vibrant or as smooth as the professional markers I own but that's understandable as they are not designed to compete with such products. Good Quality and Good Value! Perfect for Children or Adults!

Brilliant pens
Unfortunately, my 7 year old granddaughter misplaced her first set of these pens which broke her heart as she absolutely loved them, being a devoted Grandad, I could not look on and watch how sad she was so I purchased another set. When my granddaughter opened the package and discovered what was inside, she was absolutely ecstatic, brilliant quality pens and lovely colours.

Great for colouring in large spaces
These are fantastic pens. I use them for colouring in alongside the fineliner pens from the same range. These pens are fantastic for bulk colouring, so that you don't get a scratchy appearance you sometimes get when trying to colour with finer pens. The colours match the fineliner colours perfectly so you can switch from one to the other seamlessly depending on whether you're doing detailed work or bulk. If I had to buy only one set I'd buy the fineliner as these would be too thick for very detailed work, but if possible they're definitely best used together! 5 stars.

Brilliant pens!
I absolutely love these pens. I use them in conjunction with the staedtler fineliners when writing revision notes or drawing diagrams. There is a great range of colours and the pen is a good thickness for precise but clear drawing/labelling (the tip is like a felt tip, but much narrower than usual ones). As long as you don't use really thing paper, they are suitable for colouring or writing if you like thicker pens.
