Sanniti Fulmer All Natural Hungarian Acacia Honeycomb (7 oz)

I got the two pack, which is the most economical honey comb on Amazon. One pack leaked a bit and the outside was sticky. The other one seems fine. I was going to put this into my coffee, but upon tasting it, the acacia has a bit of a white grape taste to it. I figured that it wouldn't go with my coffee at all since it's too fruity of a taste. However, I do take a bite every so often and chew on the honeycomb like it is gum. The amino acids in the wax are good for you. If you like a traditional American honey taste, this may not be the one for you, as it comes from eastern europe, but if you like to try new things, give it a shot. It's not my favorite, but it may be yours!

I saw honeycomb on a charcuterie spread once, and I was excited at the visual and taste appeal. Somehow, it's more appealing to "bite" the honey than to just have it drizzled on your cheese selection. This was the first honeycomb I bought, basing my choice on the high ratings. It didn't disappoint! I've since bought several, and return to this product time and again. I actually found another brand available in my local grocery store, but I was sorely disappointed in the quality of the product. It was gritty-looking and darker. Although it tasted the same (it was still honey, after all), I still prefer the look and taste of this honey. It's on the expensive side, but a little goes a long way.

I ordered this because I got an insane craving for honeycomb one day. It's been a lovely addition to my lil "gourmet treats" cabinet. I like to cut a little piece of the honeycomb and serve it with fruit or add to charcuterie. The flavor is rich and sweet, almost a little creamy for honey, but I wouldn't call it distinct to any sort of flower (like how you can tell orange blossom honey apart from others?) The value for money is excellent, I'm very happy with this purchase.Lastly, one small downside: I wouldn't call this giftable for one reason - the packaging. While it did an excellent job of getting the honey here spill free, once I took off the sticker strip holding the box together, the box was very sticky. I can't tell if it's from honey that maybe seeped out and stayed under the sticker, or if it's just very very sticky sticker residue. The box is very cute and I'd like to keep it if I can clean it off 100%.

I seen some feedback on the packaging, so let me start there. I actually like the packaging. Sure there was some slight leakage, but it is honey. So there will be some, but nothing got on other items in box. Like it came in a hard plastic container with a lid, I can repurpose for something else. It has a clear top so you can see the beautiful sweetness inside. I enjoy honey all the time in different variations and always natural. However I haven't treated myself to honeycomb in a long long time. So it was a sweet treat to me, it was devine. I found it very awesome in flavor, color, condition and size for price. I would recommend and I would definitely buy again.

I am 55 and I grew up eating all kinds of honeycombs and honey. I am definitely NOT a consumer of pasteurized honey. I believe in raw/unpasteurized honeycomb and honey’s health benefits. Unfortunately I was not pleased with the product I received. It had crystallized which is a sign that it is not fresh. I had purchased the double package and I gave the benefit of a double. Maybe just one of the packages is old. No. Unfortunately both were crystallized. I was so hopeful that it would be a positive experience and purchase which is the majority of reviews.But if the product was fresh you cannot beat the value. I definitely would have been a subscriber.

This is a good honeycomb. It’s not the best I’ve had but not the worst either. It’s right in the middle. The price is good for the amount I got. The honeycomb was big and filled with honey. The flavor was a little sweeter than other natural honeycombs I’ve had. It’s not as flowery tasting it’s more sugary sweet. That’s why I can’t give this honeycomb 5 stars. It is a good value for the price. Now I’ve only bought this once so I can’t say it will be the same size every time. Honestly I can’t imagine it will vary by much. The packaging was the best part no leaks whatsoever came in, in perfect shape! If you’re looking for a good honeycomb that’s a good price this is the one for you. There are better tasting ones out there. For the price it’s worth trying. You might love the flavor of this one. Hope this helps.

I love this honeycomb. I got addicted to them after buying a bit of "local" honeycomb from an apple orchard nearby. We paid the same price as this honeycomb, but this one is twice the size. The value on this is great. I thought this was going to be a super expensive taste I'd picked up that I'd only be able to find at farms in-season so I'm VERY happy I found this product.I'm not enough of a connoisseur to explain why, but this honey tastes better than our other honeycomb, too, and obviously much better than the bottled stuff. It's amazing over roasted nuts or a spoonful mixed into a bowl of yogurt. It's super sweet so it goes a long way.Both cases I've ordered have come super securely packaged in a ton of bubble wrap, which I appreciate. They make sure your case is going to get to you intact. This is my second time ordering and I will definitely be ordering again. If you're on the fence about ordering online but you're craving honeycomb I'd recommend giving this one a try.
