Terrasoul Superfoods Premium Nutritional Yeast Flakes, 16oz - Fortified | Gluten Free | Non-GMO | Vegan

I've tried a number of different brands of nutritional yeast, and quite a few were unfortunately rather bland and blah. This brand, however, is neither of those. It has a rich, full flavor and savory scent. It is NOT large flakes, as it says on the package, but rather a fine powder: I'm still giving it five stars for the quality of flavor, and reasonable price. Since I mix my "noosh" in with oatmeal or pasta sauces, the size of the flake isn't an issue.

I've been ordering Bragg nutritional yeast for years, but switched to Terrasoul because I like all their other products I've tried, and their company background and mission, and most especially- use of environmentally-better packaging (vs Bragg with totally unnecessary plastic cylinder containers). Happily, this yeast product was not only significantly less expensive than Bragg brand, I really like the larger flakes and taste- which was seemingly fresher, more rich. I will stick with Terrasoul from this point on.

I usually get Bob's Red Mill brand NOT fortified but this was a better price so I got it.It's good and fresh like all the other products I've gotten from TerraSoul.I put in in hummus, on spaghetti, on mashed potatoes and I put it on veggies for the dog. He loves it too. Sometimes I give him a teaspoon plain and he licks the plate clean.

I use nutritional yeast as a nutritional supplement regularly. I pour it on pop corn. Use it as on pizza. Great on crackers like Triscuits. So delicious and a healthy addition of nutrients and protein. This lasts a long time. I pour it into an empty spice container and sprinkle it generously on many things I eat.

I found the Terrasoul Superfoods Premium Nutritional Yeast Flakes to be more of a powdery consistency than some other nooch flakes that I've bought in the past. Good price though and I like that it is fortified with B vitamins.

It's nutty and "cheesy" with a coppery taste - it's taking me a while to get used to. I add it to my breakfast of 1 egg, 1 Quaker grit package after microwaving for 2 minutes. I combine it with my standard B vitamin supplement and it gives me good energy through the workday and into the evening.At the current serving of 1tsp and 3 year out expiry date, this bag will last me forever. I really appreciate the nutritional benefit for the small serving - it's astounding when you compare it to other foods.

I never had nutritional yeast before, in/on anything. This is my first time using it. Thought to give it a try bc my blood test showed severe lack of B12. It’s this or shots. Will see if consuming this 1-2 times/week, 1-2 teaspoons at a time, makes a difference in 30 days.Now for taste: it is vaguely cheesy though to me it is reminiscent of the taste of good corn puffs when I was a kid. Think of slightly salty powdered milk.So far I liked it on my Romaine salad (Romaine hearts, Sesame dressing, and nutritional yeast); and on the Mac and cheese (cooked pasta, mix in cream cheese, cottage cheese, and nutritional yeast). Yeah I’m a lazy cook when I can get away with easy ways to make tasty healthy food.This product is a nice taste enhancer for all kinds of foods. Virtually no calories and packs as much flavor as the Parmesan cheese.Will update on blood tests if you care. That’s my experiment.
