Great upgrade to my Fender Rumble 40!
The Fender Rumble 40 is a great practice bass amp and the speaker is the weak point. I upgraded with this PA255-8 and plugged the ports and the amp is killer! Volume went up, tone is smoother, lows are better and clarity is so much less muddy.

Excellent replacement driver
I have 30 years of pro sound reinforcement experience. Tried this as a stop gap because RCF OEM driver on extended back order. Excellent value and tone for the price point.

Perfect Replacement Speakers
These were perfect replacement speakers for my worn-out and blown Yamaha factory drivers from the mid-80's! Screw pattern matched exactly...could not have been a more seamless replacement process...and...they sound and perform great!

A mid so loud you can feel it
This is a big bad midrange! Voices are loud, clear and accurate. For that live loud concert sound all the dayton woofers in this line would be a good choice. 10, 12, 15 all would be great. This is teamed up with dayton audio polymide compression drivers.

Great driver
I purchased a pair of these 10 years ago and used them to replace bad drivers on some Behringer tops. They sound amazing for their size. I 100% recommend this driver. I also bought the 12 and 18 inch versions of this driver and they don't disappoint.
