I purchased these to use on the diamond earrings that my husband gave me; so far over a year of wearing them they have not slipped or fallen off. Great backs with good locking.

Help to secure diamond earrings... Nice base so larger stones sit properly on the ear...

The plating has started coming off, whatever metal is used underneath has caused a topical skin reaction so I can no longer use these. The idea is nice. The backs are more comfortable than standard backs, but these are poorly plated. These have been used for several months and have been cleaned with non abrasive jewelry cleaner. Agree with other users that these backs slide way too much and I have had them move to the end where had I not been checking them they would've fallen off.

They are difficult to manipulate.

A few days after wearing a recently purchased gift... my fiancée said that the original backings that came with the studs were not holding very well. She was worried that the studs may slip off. I bought this hoping they would be a secured backing for my earrings. You have to squeeze the sides to slide the back on however you they slide right off very easily without squeezing the mechanism. I’m very disappointed. Guess I’ll have to go to an actual jeweler.

These definitely keep your earrings locked in place. Much cheaper than having screw backs put on at the jeweler..

My husband bought me some diomond stud errings and the backing sucked on them .. and i get paranoide i would lose my errings .. so i got these i have had these on for 6 months now and they have not come lose not once .. and they dont hurt my ears cus it covers the point of the earring so when i sleep a certain way is not digging in my skin .. best purchase i have ever made !
