DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY! THIS IS GARBAGE!
Upon first use, I couldn’t get it to work until I changed out the sprayer tip. I then changed back to the tip that came attached and this time it worked. Didn’t make sense why that happened. It heated up the Ghee just fine, however, when I took the sprayer off the charger and into the living room where I sat down to watch a movie with a bowl of popcorn, I discovered that the sprayer doesn’t keep the butter warm enough for very long at all, so I had to continually get up, go to the kitchen, put the sprayer back on the charger, wait for it to heat up the butter again, then take it back into the living room. Quite the hassle! I had about an eighth of the butter left in it by the time I stopped using it because I got irritated at having to keep getting up to recharge it. As stated you could do in the manual, I placed the sprayer in the fridge for my next use, which was tonight. I took it out of the fridge, put more butter in it and put it on the charging base. Waited for the status light to turn solid blue to indicate it was ready to use. I timed it just right as my popcorn had just finished popping about that same time. I took my popcorn into the living room and placed the bowl on the table beside my favor chair, alongside my salt shaker with popcorn salt, and got a bottle of Coca Cola out of the fridge. I was all set except for the butter for my popcorn. I turned on the movie and paused it, when into the kitchen and got the sprayer off the charger and went back to my seat, sat down in my chair, grabbed the bowl of popcorn, then the sprayer, and hit the button on the sprayer, and, NOTHING! I kept hitting the button and NOTHING would come out! After a while, I just took the sprayer back into the kitchen along with the bowl of popcorn. Placed the bowl in the sink, took the top off the sprayer and just poured the butter onto the popcorn! Almost $100 for this piece of junk!DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS PIECE OF GARBAGE!

I am throwing this out after 2 unit failures.
I used the first one one time and the 2nd time I went to use it it would not take a charge. I tried everything but it would not take a charge. I contacted the manufacturer and went through a series of emails trying what they offered before they sent me another one. The 2nd one I went to use and charged it up past the blue light (supposed to be ready to go) and couldn't get it to spray the melted butter (it does melt the butter in the chamber). I put it back on the base in intervals of time and got it to spray like this with much aggravation. I bought this for popcorn thinking it would distribute the butter better and maybe reduce the amount of butter I use and save calories. I sprayed the popcorn in layers so it would all be flavored. The result was not a satisfying amount of butter flavor and I used more than I normally would otherwise. Yes it sprays wide and you need a large bowl and hold it benith the rim so it doesn't get everywhere. I kept it on the charger so the battery would be full the next time I use it. Well the next time was more of the same thing as the first use. I tried with the ready light on 3 times and it would not spray each time. I took the top off and drizzled the melted butter over my popcorn. I don't want to keep it wasting room in my kitchen and I am discarding it. Pay attention to the comments and don't buy this thing. Take the money and buy scratch off lottery tickets. You will be more satisfied with the money spent.

Convenient but pricey
This butter sprayer works great. It will take a whole stick of butter. You have to let the stick of butter slowly go in the the sprayer as it warms but a whole stick of butter will go in and not overflow. If the opening was square instead of round, this could make it so much easier to put in a whole stick of butter. The extra nozzle is handy. We haven't had to use the second nozzle yet and almost done with the stick of butter. But for seventy dollars, it was a debatable purchase. There should be a dust cap for the extra nozzle and contacts when not in use. I made my own dust cap for the nozzle with a bicycle tire cap and a piece of shrink tubing. I still need to make something to protect the contacts though. Had this item come with the dust protection I would have given it 5 stars. We put the butter sprayer in the fridge after each use and that seems to work fine. You do have to plan ahead to use it because it takes about 20 minutes to remelt the butter. One solution is place the butter sprayer on the charger the night before and plug the charger into a timer. And wala! You have hot butter to spray on your hot toast or bagels in the morning to go with your coffee. When were done, we'll let the butter sprayer cool for a half hour or so before putting it back in the fridge. So a message to the manufacturer. Provide dust covers for the extra nozzle and contacts and make the opening larger to accommodate a whole stick of butter. Maybe lower the price a tad bit would be nice. Then you'd have a winner that would probably sell out.

Love it
This little gadget is totally unnecessary but I love it. Do I need it? Of course not. Its perfect for popcorn and corn on the cob. It gets right into all the little nooks and crannies. I love that I can just put it in the fridge with the unused butter inside for next time, unlike a sauce pan where it would be wasted and also create another dish to wash. It's also nice if you want soft butter for toast etc but you want the kind you can't leave on the counter.
