Great design, but much thinner than other game mats of the same size and price
If you're only ever going to use this on a table and you love Civ, this is a great mat at an okay price. But at only 1/16" thick (a little more than 1.5mm) it won't work anywhere that isn't flat and smooth, including a carpeted floor, which is where we play some games.I like the map parchment print and it would look good with many of the games I play, but I just need something less flimsy. And for the price, I feel like they should have finished the edge to help it last longer and prevent the fabric from fraying and peeling from the rubber foam, which always happens with things like this (mouse pads, etc.).Edit: Was going to return it but decided to keep it. The IP is strong with this one.
