I recently baked a cake using my new pan, and I was thrilled with the result – it turned out absolutely beautiful! I am so pleased with these pans. My granddaughter wanted one of the "vintage buttercream heart cakes" for her 13th birthday. I have 4 grandkids and have been doing all their cakes for the last 12 years. I went cheap at first on heart pans and they came out short and just weak. Then I ordered another name brand of pans and they never arrived. By this time I was in a bind and needed the good stuff. Of course I pick Fat Daddio's brand because I know it's reliable and has wonderful performance. Sure enough, the pans arrived quickly, I baked the cakes according to their recommendation at 325 degrees and got these 2 layers of gorgeous fluffy 2-1/4 high heart cakes. Perfectly released from the pan, very little to trim off the top, I was beyond pleased and had to write a review. If you work a lot with cake baking you know Fat Daddio's is a good brand and most of my pans are from them but this really proved the point - go for the tried and true good stuff! A+++++
