I got tired of spending 40-60$ on brother ink, I own a small business and print my own business cards at home.The inks came with no instructions but after taking out the ink cartridges from my printer and just messing with them a bit and doing some guess work I managed to refill them on my own (no instructions needed!)I put the ink in via the included syringes, I used 15mls of ink per cart but I proooobably could have used more. I put the ink in where the printer takes it out, injected slowly then shook it up when I was done. Stuck it in my printer and it printed GREAT very vibrantly!!If anything happens with the printer or the ink I’ll be back to change my review please believe but currently I feel this is a good ink and worth the money for sure!!

Easy to use, works well.

The ink works well so far. Sadly, this set is missing a crucial piece that allows you to pull the ink to the bottom of the cartridge. If you already have this piece I’m sure this product would be great. If not purchase an ink set with that bracket and extra 5th syringe.

I bought the black ones first and work so good and got the color ones too. Works and worth the price.

After feeling for where the holes are located, I used the refill kit needle to pierce the original tri color cartridge label and sponge with no ink to determine where each color is located. It does not matter how slow you fill an empty cartridge with only one or two mls ink, it just runs back out. The ink is too thin. If you do get some ink to remain in the cartridge, the tri color print is basic and workable but will not yield many print jobs. If you get ink on your fingers during the process, bleach quickly solves that problem. I need to try another brand reinking kit....

They were easy to install and they work well. Would purchase again.

I have been working on/with printers for a long time. Bought these refills to help with the cost like most people here. For one, use rubber gloves and set down some towels etc. Lots of YouTube videos on how to refill your cartridges. It's not rocket science but it can get messy. And if you are expecting real good quality print, it is not going to happen with these. Having said that, if you just need to print generic text then it will be fine. I would not try to print a picture with this ink. My experience has been I need to soak the cartridges in warm water and clean the print head before most uses or I get missing text. Just filled the tri color cartridge (HP 64) and it was okay, but the colors do not come out really clear and vibrant. They are somewhat muted and as you can see in the pic I attached, the yellow looks orange. Maybe will improve with time. But having to pop out the cartridge to soak it, and on occasion prime it, uses ink and paper which defeats the purpose of doing this in the first place. So really it's up to you if you just need text or quality print.*UPDATE after filling the cartridges the ink does not last long and is quite thin. The ink tends to clog the cartridges and you wind up doing this and that (running the "Clean")to get them to print again. Real pain in the butt. Wastes paper and ink. Just buy cartridges. I am. I keep trying but no luck.

Following the directions I was able to refill my empty cartridges. I just had to print a couple of smudgey pages to clear out the excess ink.
