They work as a builder base, I use instead of base coat but you can get length and thickness with an extra coat; you wouldn’t really use them as colour because they’re very translucent with hardly any colour at all. Hope this helps.

That is weird. Is simple as it is. It should change the colour whenever the temperature changes. I used them for a while now and honestly it worked

No, never had an issue and I have bought a lot of the same brand gel nail polish. Mine usually last between 2-3 weeks. Have you used the bittom and top coat of the same brand? Maybe try and leave each coat a bit longer under the light?
