Rugged Ridge Dash Bar for Jeep Wrangler/Gladiator | 13551.36 | Fits 2018-2025 Jeep Wrangler JL; 2020-2025 Jeep Gladiator JT

At the time I write this here in March 2025, this does NOT fit 2024 Gladiator JT. Unless this specific thing is different in my Texas Trail Edition (and I doubt it is).The angle of the side brackets at which the install shows in the photos will not work on the 24+ because either the handle is longer or the dash is a bit taller, not sure which, but the gap between the handle and the dash is much smaller than shown in the listing and install photos from earlier models, and for that reason, you can't put the bracket in at the same angle. I've tried every other angle I can figure out and it only works in that position for the bar, so it won't work for the 2024+ models.There doesn't seem to be another full bar mount available from anyone as of March 2025 like this, so I found a work around, because I really wanted to use this. What I did was get two RAM 1" ball mounts. The holes in the base of those will line up perfectly with the left and right mount holes in the middle dash mounts, so you can mount a ball directly there. You will have to cut off a little of each side of the ball mount base to fit in the tray, but it works. Then I used two handlebar ball mounts on the bar, and two of the the shortest RAM RAP-B-201U-A arm. This gives it two hard mounts mid dash and it holds the bar perfectly. Hate that I had to work around to get a full bar but it works.Rugged Ridge (and that other brand mentioned in another review here) need to get it together and modify the brackets or something so those of us with newer models can mount these as intended.It's still a good product. It's solid, has a nice finish, and give you all sorts of flexibility, but because the year models listed are misleading I'm knocking it down a star.

Other products like Anvil Overland are very similar but are significantly cheaper and better quality. I purchased this dash bar and after using a 3lb hammer, I managed to get the mounting brackets bent into the position that they needed to be in order to mount the bar between them. Fortunately I did not break my windshield in the process of swinging this hammer around the cab. Overall, its fine. It is solid once I got it mounted, but the quality control is clearly off as I had to bent each mounting tab a good 20-30 degrees to get everything to line up as it should. For the most expensive dash bar that I've found on the market, you shouldn't need to hit it with a hammer to get things to line up properly. If I was to do it again, I'd definitely go with another product, save some hassle and some money.

The dash bar is good quality. Sturdy metal bar. The packaging did not come with instructions like the description sent but it is self explanatory.Good to know info: 10 mm socket, torx and wrench is needed.
