BAXA ExactaMed Oral Liquid Medication Syringe 1cc/1mL 4/PK Amber Medicine Dose Dispenser with Cap Exacta-Med Baxter Comar Latex Free

I worked as a pediatric nurse prior to having my first baby and I personally find this to be a must have to be as accurate as possible when administering any medication to a little baby. We used this for gas medication early on with our little one and I found this easy to use, accurate and I liked the feature of having a cap to put on top when not using.

I use these for dispensing meds for my cat. The tip fits nicely into the bottle from the compounding pharmacy. The plunger glides smoothly (very important when dealing with a cat!) My only complaint is that after a few uses, the numbers come off. I now make a line with a sharpie to extend their life. Otherwise, they are perfect ... they do not come apart like others I've ordered that have a problem with the plunger getting stuck.

I use these to give my ferrets their medicine. I like that the plunger doesn't have the rubber stopper because they sometimes get stuck. These glide in and out nice and easily, which helps with accurate dosage and with giving my ferrets their medicine. The measurements do fade after some washing but I've found that to be the case with any syringes I've used. Nice quality. Will buy more as needed.

My son is taking Ranitidine (Zantac) and the syringes that the hospital gave us kept breaking after 1-2 uses (the rubber end is removable on those, so the rubber would get stuck in the tube and the plunger just pops out without it). Seems to get sticky, I don't know if that's just the Ranitidine even though we use a pipe cleaner and soap to clean it very well, but it happened every damn time. These have a rubber ring instead and they don't come off! I can finally wash and reuse. They do still act weird and sometimes require more or less force to push through, which can suddenly administer a ton of the medication at once and scare you. But this was an issue with the other syringes we had as well. Must be the sticky meds, I dunno. But if I just hold it a certain way, I keep that from happening too. I think this is as good as it's gonna get for us.

This is my favorite syringe because it fits perfectly in the hole for my animals meds from the compounding pharmacy. The only downfall is that the lines start to fade after the second wash.

Love these. Makes awful task of medicating a dog, easier and repeatable.

The numbers wipe off

I love this product so much, but it didn’t get five stars because the numbers fade very quickly. I use this for my baby who is strictly gtube fed and needs medications round the clock and it fit in her port perfectly. But don’t expect the numbers to last if you’re washing them constantly.
