10/10 recommend!
This book is great even if you’re not actively trying to conceive (TTC). The whole point of this book is to be healthy enough to conceive and sustain a pregnancy. If you’re on your PCOS journey, this book is excellent at breaking things down so it’s easily understood. I love that it’s written by a dietician and nutritionist because I really needed that guidance. While PCOS is genetic, it can be controlled environmentally, and I never stood a chance against PCOS due to my lack of knowledge and understanding. I cannot recommend this book enough.

Easy, useful read
I read this book front to back in a matter of days. It was a very easy read, and I found it entertaining enough to read through it all. The author had scientific information regarding the nutrition needed for increased fertility when you have PCOS, but she didn’t scold or make information seem overwhelming or scary. She even reassured the reader on certain discerning topics such as the increased risk of autism, discussing the true statistics and reassuring that it’s not as it seems. The diet advice given is very straightforward, and mainly is more of an inclusive diet than exclusive.

Amazing PCOS info for both TTC and trying to just manage PCOS
I love this book so much! I've had my PCOS diagnosis since 2009, and I often feel like I know more about it than my providers. However, I didn't realize how much I still didn't know until I read this book! It was so eye opening.I was able to use tons of the information in the book to implement a better supplement system for my body than just Metformin and hormonal BC. After implementing the lessons I learned in this book, I got my labs taken 2 months later and they came back incredible! My husband and I are currently TTC and I'm hoping to hear soon if we are on the right track with conception. This book makes me feel like I have the information I need, and in conjuction with my OBGYN I feel like I'm more informed than ever about PCOS and pregnancy.

A MUST READ BOOK!
This book is truly a must-read for anyone who is struggling with PCOS or infertility. I have read and listened to so many books, articles and podcasts on fertility, nutrition and health, and this is by FAR in my top 3! It helped me to understand SO MUCH about my PCOS, my fertility and my cycle and gave practical guidance on how to naturally improve my PCOS symptoms by addressing the root of the problem! Clare understands that every woman's body is different and PCOS is a complex disease that can't simply be fixed by a pill. She helps you to understand what is causing YOUR particular symptoms and helps you identify YOUR root cause. Her knowledge is amazing and her advice super practical! As someone who has been struggling with PCOS and infertility for almost a decade, and tirelessly seeking a way to greater health I highly recommend this book!

This book is easy to read, and gives clear understanding of pcos. The fact that the author has been through it as well, her first hand knowledge makes the information given seem more attainable for others. Excited to implement these and start the protocol

Good for anyone with PCOS, not just for conceiving
Clare Goodwin will change your life. If you have been diagnosed with PCOS you will get the pill, told to lose weight, and then fertility treatments when you want a baby. These are all bandaids, and that is not what you get from this book. You will get information and tools to fix what is causing your symptoms. This book will change your life regardless of if you are trying to get pregnant or not!

Just a long advertisement.
The book goes into great detail explaining how PCOS works and how our root causes contributes into infertility. She explains how to find the root cause but avoids how to treat each root cause specifically. However, It all just felt like a scam and an advertisement to buy her insanely expensive personalized program, which I’m sure is very helpful. Not to mention, some of her evidence based suggestions are quite the stretch, specifically regarding progesterone supplementation in early pregnancy which is a still highly debated and inconclusive recommendation in the fertility world.I also tried reading other reviews on this book prior to purchasing, but was only able to read the five star reviews which I should have taken as a red flag to begin with.I’d say pass on the book, you can find the information you need through various podcasts and other online searches.
