Fits older tool
My multi tool is probably close to 10 years old. I bought it at a store that was going out of business. The original battery still goes, but doesn't hold it's charge like it used too. I decided it was taking to long to finish project because I had to wait for battery to charge. I bought this as a back-up. It definitely has more power and charge lasts longer. I didn't rate longevity or battery life because I haven't had it long enough. It was exactly as described and arrive within time quoted.

Buyer Beware
ORIGINAL REVIEW: I bought three of these batteries over the past few months, and a 4th is on the way, to replace one of them that I had to return. The first two I ordered have worked well so far. The one gripe is that they don't fit as snugly into the tools as the originals. If you are using most of the tools, you would not notice much of an issue. But if you use a tool that vibrates a lot, such as the oscillating saw, the battery will loosen up and the tool will stop working while you are using it. Since I use the oscillating saw a lot, I work around it by pushing the battery in tight, then using a piece of duct tape to help slow down how fast it loosens up.The third battery was a disaster. I did an initial trivial test and it worked. Then, I used it on a project a few weeks after I bought it. It ran the oscillating saw for a few minutes, and just died with a burnt smell.I put it in other tools I have, and it could not power any of them. Also, the battery charger would not recognize it at all. Fortunately, I was still within the return window, so I brought it to a return center and they are sending a replacement. But that makes me wonder how long the first two (and new replacement) will last before they die.I still have all 5 of the original batteries that came with the tools. They are 12 years old, and still doing quite well, though their capacity has eroded quite a bit, as to be expected. I doubt these new batteries are going to last anywhere near as long as the originals.Given the ratings, others seem to have had less trouble than I have had. I would not recommend that you don't buy the battery, as options are limited, but I would recommend that you test it really thoroughly before the return window closes.UPDATE AFTER I RECIEVED THE REPLACEMENT: The replacement lasted 3 uses and recharges before dying. They seem to have a bad batch of these, as the two I bought a few months ago are still working fine. This time it's going back for a refund. I'm going to wait a while before I try again in hopes they get a new batch in that works much better than this batch.

Battery smoked
Purchased the battery in July, and been having using it at work until now (November 30, 2020). Been having issues with battery, it would often pop out of the drill and would have to pop it back in, but today it started to smoke while using the drill and now I have a dead battery. So I got about 5 months of usage on the battery.

Good for the money
Haven't had long enough to say anything about longevity. As far as battery life not to bad. Only real complaint not a tight fit. Battery seems to move alot. But still believe good for the money I spent on 2.
