This men's waterproof jacket is the difference between being uncomfortable in light rain and working right through it all. It's made of lightweight, material that provides a seam-sealed barrier against the elements. There are three pockets on the outside as well as drop-in pockets on the inside. Previously known as the Dry Harbor Jacket

Tough Jacket that has some style
I bought this for when I have to walk my dog in the rain. He has IBS and Allergic Colitis, so I have to walk him a lot and unfortunately, that includes quite a few wet walks. I haven't got to try it out in the rain yet but I have looked the jacket over. The fit is great, it's durable, and I love the zip-up storm pockets. It also has a pocket on the inside of the jacket. The hood is a good fit and also has draw cords. I trust Carhartt and I trust this jacket will do well and I will give an update as to how it holds up in the rain as soon as I can.UPDATE 02/15/2021I've gotten to wear the jacket in the rain 4 or 5 times now. I've wore it in light, medium and heavy rains. I'm in Kentucky, and the rain in late December and January is cold. I usually wear my Carhartt Rain Defender Hoodie (Sherpa Lined) under the rain coat. It has really worked well. There hasn't been any water seep through yet and I've been in some heavy rains for up to 12-15 minutes. I really love how it zips up and then it has the velcro closure up and down the center, to cover the zipper for added protection. The hood can be adjusted to be loose or tight. For me it depends on the wind by I try to keep it loose. The tightening with the draw cord is a little weird to get used to at first but after a few times of wearing it, you won't pay any attention to it anymore.I bought an XL and I'm a heavy set guy. I'm 5'9 225 and I can wear this over my jacket I listed above and I can wear it over my Carhartt Winter Jacket. It gets a little tight though. I thought it would be to small to wear over any jacket but it will work with just about anything you have. By no means is an XL too large like other Carhartt Jackets. I think it's just more flexible because of the material it's made of which makes it easier to wear over other clothes. If you wear an XL, go for an Extra Large just in case you want to use it for wearing over other clothes like I do. Whatever you usually wear in Carhartt Jackets, just go with that size and you'll be fine. I would absolutely buy this again. Definitely worth it to me.

Waterproof
I ride public transportation often and that comes with dealing with rains. I sought for a waterproof jacket that would last me for years. This seems to be it. It’s definitely waterproof. I’ve worn it in different rains. And it repels water well. Have not noticed leaks. This jacket is just a shell, there’s no lining. Its just a nylon fabric. I bought a size small even though i wear a medium in most other brands. Carhartt is hit or miss with sizing. I bought one coat from Carhartt that fits large for a medium and another coat that fits perfectly at their medium size. At size small this jacket fits perfectly at the chest and arm length. I can moderately layer too as well. I’m 5’9” and 145lbs. The jacket seems durable. I’ve gotten compliments on its sleek nylon look. Has a semigloss appearance. Deep black. It’s not noisy. Soft supple nylon but also thick for durability. With that said, the only problems i can note is breathability, as its nylon and waterproof material this jacket traps heat in warmer weather. I prefer using this jacket for winters rain but in a pinch will wear it in summer. I also prefer to wear a long sleeve shirt of some kind to keep the rubbery feel of the nylon from sticking to my skin. But i have worn short sleeve shirts in this and its bearable. Jacket has 2 inside pockets and 2 outside ones as well. Has zippered and velcro closure. And the cuffs are adjustable with velcro. The hood is sort of small, ball shaped. But with a baseball cap it gives the hood more form and visor ability.

Well made, but not for me
This is an extremely well-made jacket, but the fit wasn’t right for me. I’m long in the body, and the jacket wasn’t long enough, especially in the front. Also, the hood is designed to be worn with a hard hat — when I put it over my bare head, the front dropped all the way to my chin. If it fits you, you’ll probably love it.

Don't Base what Size you Purchase off these Reviews
This is a high quality reasonably priced jacket. It's cool looking and it's rugged.... made with great material and great features like the velcro on the zipper and the deep pockets. On the sizing? If you wear a large usually? Buy a large. If you wear a medium? Buy a medium. Don't get wrapped up in someone's pissy review about how they feel like theirs is "the wrong size". Just go with what works for you. This is a great product. I highly recommend.

Surprised!
Excellent quality, great fit on 5 foot six 175 pounds and the medium is just right for me. I can even layer it over something to make it warmer. Great pocket treatments. This is definitely worth it.
