Male here. I've been buffing my nails for several years now - ever since it was introduced to me by a nail tech - as an alternative to clear polish. I just didn't think that I was a nail polish kinda man. But nail buffing gives shiny nails without the unnatural look and feel of polish. And I love the reaction to my buffed nails - especially when someone asks why I polish my nails and I can gently correct them.I recommend this both for beginners as well as for experienced nail buffers. For men, with this device there is no need to make that awkward visit to the salon.A warning to beginners: be careful with the very coarse pads (green). Being a powered device this removes nail material a lot faster than you might realise. If you're not careful you could be left with paper-thin nails.This product is my first venture into a battery-powered nail device and it is totally a winner. Over the years I have sometimes had challenges sourcing traditional buffing pads. Also, quality has been inconsistent. So I decided to give this device a try.My first use of this device has given me the same thrill I had the very first time I had my nails buffed years ago. The buff was quick and the result was smooth and very shiny. It's been 6 days and my nails still look fantastic. Unlike the 2 hours it usually takes to get the job done manually, this device completed the job in about 15 minutes - both hands.I have seen some reviews which speak about the quality of the rollers. I do see where there could be a problem later on with the buffer coming loose from the roller. I'm not overly concerned as I think a quick dab of adhesive should solve this if it ever becomes an issue. Frankly, I've had that issue with traditional buffing pads and glue was always an effective solution.Will be buying a kit for my 15 y-o daughter to keep her in the natural look.

Love this product! It's inexpensive, powerful and easy to use. I've already purchased several more as gifts- Wimen & men can both use this product! It leaves nails clean, smooth and shiny- Very nice look for anyone. I do recommend purchasing the replacement heads initially, as they only last for 2 or 3 uses- depending on how aggressively you use them. Also, the outside of the heads often come unglued, and therefore unusable, so you need to have extra heads on hand. I have only used the blue head (for gentle buffing) and white head (for shining). The other two heads are too rough and I found it difficult to use.

This nail file works great! My nails are so shiny and it didn't take much time or effort to do. The file is super easy to use, the tip is easy to change, it's pretty self explanatory.I have just a couple small issues with it. It seems as though the little buffer tips won't last long, after just a single use they kind of started to come apart. They're still usable for at least a little while, but where the sides meet, the corners are already starting to lift up. Secondly, the bottom part where the batteries go, doesn't close all the way. When I first opened the package, it wasn't even closed all the way, I had to REALLY force it on there to close it. And once you get batteries in there, forget about it.But overall, I'd say it's worth it, I bought it for $7.96 and it's worth every cent. I wouldn't pay list price for it, but it does serve it's purpose!

I was hesitant to buy this bcz the price was so low, but figured if it didn't work out I'd return it. I am SO EXTREMELY PLEASED with how this little gizmo performs!!! It is like getting a pro mani/pedi at home. The device is larger than the professional ones, but that makes it easier to maneuver. It's got plenty of power, runs on 2 AA batteries. It makes filing, shaping, and buffing nails much quicker. And the shine is glorious. I have deep ridges in my nails and this buffs them out in no time at all. I bought the pkg of additional heads at same time and glad I did, bcz I am hooked on this. It's an incredible buy!!

Finally had to replace my last one of the same product after 8+ years of regular use.

I got one of the salon style manicure pens and found it to be really painful to use on natural nails. Then I saw this and thought I'd give it a try. For the price I had nothing to lose anyway. This device is gentle on the nails, does what it says. I'm very happy with product. However of you want a mail pen for acrylic or gel nails this won't work. I can't stand having anything on my nails. I can barely tolerate polish so for me, this works great.

I'm very disappointed in this. But then again it's like that saying you get what you pay for. This is 100% true for this product. One use and the heads are peeling off. You would definitely need extra heads cause they are so cheap!!! The shine head, barely shined my nails. It says to use it no more than 2 seconds so I didn't try it for a longer amount. Not worth buying. My friend swears by ped egg products and says maybe i got a faulty one. But I dont know.
