RMB31000EA - Raised Toilet Seat, Fits Standard Toilet

I bought this toilet seat because I am having surgery on my feet very soon, (one at a time!) and I will not be able to put any weight on each foot for a minimum of 8 weeks. I will be in a hard cast for the first two months, possibly longer. Continue on after that with my foot in a soft cast/boot, with a lot of physical therapy.... We are talking about months here of recovery, per foot.I had broken my leg last year and was in a hard cast for 3 months, so I remember how difficult it was to raise myself to standing position from sitting down, especially when using the toilet! This time, for surgery, I am going to be as prepared as I can be.Not being able to walk much in the past year, I have gained weight. Which makes it even harder to get up off of a toilet or chair. So I knew one of these raised toilet seats would help. I did my research and the ONLY reason I bought THIS one from this particular seller was because someone said it was 6" in height. All of the others were 5.5" in height. I thought another half inch would be beneficial.HOWEVER, it is not 6", but 5.5", like the others, and it's fine! I paid $20.03 for it, free S&H and let me tell you, the seller got it here in only TWO days!!!! WOW! A+ to you, seller! THANK YOU!!Now, I took three photos. The first one is showing the toilet and its shape. It's a standard toilet, not elongated, but more of a round oval. The description and other buyers said it WOULD fit, and it does. It's on there, and only moves a tiny tiny TINY little bit. Nothing at all, really. Nothing to worry about. Just want you to know that it does not "snap" into the toilet. It's a snug fit, and it's tiny bit of movement, hardly any at all, is nothing worrisome, because on the bottom of the toilet seat are three rubber pads that help grip the rim of the toilet and hold it in place.I feel 100% confident this raised toilet seat is going to help me a lot. And I know it can help others too. A lot of people who left reviews here said this thing is a "life saver" and they wished they'd ordered it a long time ago. It can help elderly persons to sit easier and stand easier from their toilet.It's made of thick, hard plastic, and it'll be so easy to clean it. I'll keep the box it came in, so I can stash it into a closet for when I have guests over.For $20.03 and free S&H and the super speedy delivery of this tallest 5.5" elevated toilet seat, this is a great deal!(And on a side note, I didn't know they even had these, but if you are someone --or know someone-- who cannot bend their leg at all due to surgery, or injury, or whatever reason, they do make a special raised toilet seat that has a slope on one side for the straight leg to rest upon. It allows you to sit higher up on the toilet and the leg will slope down and rest on the floor nicely, without having to be bent, for your comfort. It looks a little strange, but I'm sure it is helpful to those who might need such a setup. Not sure which seller had it, but I did see it here at Amazon.)Thank you. I would like to say that this product did not work for me because of my unique body mechanics. With that said, I have no disagreements about the quality or cost of the item. I gave it 4 stars because I have to pay almost $12 to return it. This seems unfair. Perhaps I missed something I should have read. So I am saying it here. Be aware that if you buy this product and it doesn't work for you, you will have to pay to return it. I will not be buying this kind of item from Honest again.

This was one of the purchases I made in preparation for right total hip replacement surgery. It fit my toilet bowl perfectly simple install (I have a round bowl). Just lift the lid and place, minimal movement. Perfect for my needs.

Did not fit securely on toilet seat

I had hip surgery and unfortunately this item was hard as a rock and also I now know why some of them have an opening in front. You have to be able to wipe yourself!! Dumb purchase of mine but never had to buy anything like this before. I was going by height but there are other considerations to be aware of!

Bought for knee surgery recovery. Very stable, perfect height, very pleased. Does not move, slide or wobble when sitting down or standing up.
