Nothing wrong with the pencils but people and the company should be aware of how dangerous this metal packaging can be to young children and pets around the house. I have attached photos of metal shards that broke off the joints as the tin material wears off over time. They can be fatal if ingested especially as they fall off onto table or floor and get picked up by toddlers or babies. I was shocked when my daughter came to me to show me the metal shard. Thankfully she is 4.5 and is somewhat aware what can cause danger to her 1 year old sister.

A little frustrated when I bought these as when they were delivered I found almost half of them broken in transit. I was in hospital for an extended period so couldn’t return them.The other thing is soft isn’t the word - a week in and they are already well worn down so a little disappointed but other than that they are nice to hold, comfortable and give a good colour range.

Well I'm highly disappointed with this purchase.The box arrived by courier, the package was not damaged.But when the children opened the box on Christmas day, a good few of the crayons' nibs were broken. As all the colors were mixed up (and I know that brands like Staedtler would sort their colors as this has a great satisfying effect when you open the box for the 1st time) I first thought these were used before, but from looking at them closer, nope, they are brand new but they were definitely dropped (and if you sort them again like on the top of the box, all the broken ones are brown, grey, black, all from the same side if the box was sorted by color).So they are usable, totally usable, but are the nibs all broken inside (highly probable as they were definitely dropped)?

So far found the pencils to be of soft nature and good selection of colours only problem is sharpening them, they do not break when using them as the abs stops this however when you need to sharpen them it seems to prevent a good fine point..I need a fine point for the Enchanted a forest colouring book as it has some delicate parts. Any suggestions to successful sharpening would be good.

The colour selection in this pack of pencils is good and they produce as expected results.However, the tin is somewhat disappointing. It is very flimsy and dents easily. Furthermore, perhaps because it dents easily, the tin it is not secure, comes open easily and the contents spill everywhere. I purchased this primarily for the tin as secure storage however this is not effective nor worth the money.
