These are horrible.UPDATE. Cheaply made. Broker within 8 mo ths of light use.
We bought this item because of the price. It feels cheap but is definitely working. It does not work if I try to staple holding it in my hand. It needs to be on a desk and slowly staple. It's fine for our infrequent use. Not a heavy use stapler.

Got my money's worth
This allowed me to have staplers in the various places in my home that I use them and at the price offered it was a great bargain. They work great and don't get stuck like some of the cheaper models tend to do.
