Bosch Parts 2610938414 Adapter Plate

This fit my DeWalt router and works quite well. I wish they had more selection of plastic inserts though.I have the 2 1/4 HP DeWalt router; I don’t recall the number. I purchased the 3 base kit and one base stays permanently installed in this mount which I installed in an auxiliary table on my table saw. It turns the table saw into a router table and lets me use the same fence for both tools with a simple drop over guard. The only issue I has with this was the immense amount of holes; there are so-so many holes. I filled all but the needed mounting holes with Bondo and sanded it flush; I also flushed it to my table wherein it fits perfectly.This is a great add to any router. I thought about getting another one to set in my counter to help with larger pieces.I used this mount to easily put a 3/4” round over in 1 1/2” butcher block counters before installing them.There are two holes for guide pins to help with free hand routing, routing without a fence; one is 1/4-20 thread while the other is metric, either M6 or M8, I don’t recall which but I’m more inclined to think M6.

I recently moved to a new home and unfortunately, had to put all my tools into a storage unit, until I get my workshop built. A recent project (4 drawer cabinet) had me in need of my router/table. I decided I'd rather buy a new router (upgrade time) and make a router table, then dig through my storage unit. I made my router table, after purchasing a new Bosch 1617EVS kit , which included the plunger base. I needed a good solid ALUMINUM router table insert that would allow "Bolt-up" compatibility and allow me access to the plunger base's fine adjustment through a access hole in the right router table insert. The plate also has the added benefit of having scales (measurement) located on either side of the opening, allowing for precise location of your fence/stop.This is the correct unit! Everything lines up correctly. It's a heavy duty thick plate that will last!! I think that those looking for value and durability will be happy with this insert.

Great router plate! Perfect for my Bosch router. Was easy to install the router with the included screws after routing out the plywood. The only complaint for this router base is the surface seems a bit rough which might catch certain woods but I have not had any issues so far. I suppose this could fit many router types but got it for my Bosch. Seems like a sturdy product as well. Highly recommended!

Great product, very solid i do not see sag ever being an issue. Though i have not used or even built the rest of my router table yet im very happy i went with this instead of a router lift for hundreds more. I bought the 1617 router to mate to this plate and IT DOES bolt right up with the included hardware despite reviews saying it does not mate without drilling, it does it just is tricky finding the proper series of holes but with persistence and the manual you will eventually find the proper sequence of holes. The only change i am going to make is of the 3 screws that hold the plate and router together 2 if them stick out of the router far enough to add an additional lock nut i will definitely be doing that for extra piece of mind but most likely not necessary. Overall im very happy i was already decided on a router lift but tried to find a cheaper alternative and this is it and with the right router like the 1617 series i can micro adjust from the top and they even include the t handle to do so and i can even change bits from the top and since this plate and the 1617 router are both bosch and that bosch had good foresight the gross adjustments (larger adjustments) are easy to make from under the table because the way the plate and router pair together the clamping mechanism is right in the front for easy access which is also were the micro adjust is on the top of the table front and dead center. Im not sure how well other routers pair to this plate but with this plate and the 1617 series router there is genuinely no logical reason to spend hundreds more for a lift this is nice well built and has great ease of use features so far

I inserted this into my work bench to save space and it works great for my router .

NICE PLATE BUT THE HOLES WON'T FIT A CRAFTSMAN OR RYOBI ROUTERS I HAVE.

This plate is identical to the plate delivered with the router table. Ii is generally a good plate but it does not fit the Triton 31/4 HP router that I was trying to install. I discussed this problem specifically with a Bosch rep and he recommend this plate. It still does not work so. I had to reengineer the hole pattern to fit the Triton. Fortunately, I happen to own a machine shop and have precision layout equipment and knowledge. It now behaves like a proper router plate should. The plate is probably fine for a lot of routers, just not mine.

I am making a homemade router table, and before getting something nicer I am starting out with a cheapo HF router. I had trouble getting it to fit another small table without drilling new holes.This fits perfectly my router (seems like they have purpose built holes for it.
