It came with instructions with pictures. It assembled easily and looks just like the product pictures. Screw holes lined up fine for me.I saw another review complaining about the fit. But that review had a picture and the parts were assembled incorrectly. I plan to paint the outside of it and put it out next week. Ducks just started returning for spring and they are all over the place. Hopefully one moves in.UPDATE: A duck moved in. I added a couple pictures of a female mallard that moved in about a week or so ago. Hopefully will see some baby ducks in a month or so.

Most of the panels fit but there are one or two gaps where they come together. Construction instructions were somewhat vague. Would have helped if the panels were numbered instead of trying to figure which was which.

Excellent, especially for the price…I installed in my aviary …Ducks seem to like it…good quality wood…solid construction…I put wood shavings inside.I like the shape , by connecting them together, I made a “duck condominium “

We have mallard ducks visiting our backyard and pool regularly, including a female that has mated. However they have shown no interest what ever in the nesting house. I'm going to let it cure and weather for the rest of the year and see if I have better luck next year.

What can I say about this...it’s unusable!Even for a handle person the directions are not clear, the wood is cut uneven, the wood is not cut accurately, and overall it’s just junk!For the money I paid I expected it to come assembled but I doubt even the company could assemble this duck house and make it look like the picture they advertise.Amazon should NOT allow sellers like this!It was for a gift and now I have to quickly find a replacement gift.

Good quality wood and it looks great. I had no problem following directions and put it together perfectly. Ignore previous reviews concerning poor directions or didnt fit together. 1 review even has picture complaining about this and it is clearly put together incorrectly. Maybe the company created new / better directions since then? Anyway, no complaints. excellent.

A few wood pieces were split but just used wood glue and clamps to remedy before assembling. Need to sand opening and provide your own mounting (not included).

The seams don’t perfectly seal, and the top is not as easily removed for cleaning as promised in the description. But it’s sturdy, easy to build, and the pictures from the bad reviews clearly show a poorly assembled product by the buyer, not a poorly constructed product by the manufacturer. The screws are stainless steel; apparently the 1-star review calling the hardware cheap was expecting titanium.
