Q: Can it be used for crib rails?

If your crib rails are 3/4 inches wide they should work with no problem.

Q: What did you use to cut this to length needed?

I used my miter box and back saw. It was a lot like cutting wood trim. There were some burrs on the cut end but I was able to pick them off with my fingernails. Cut it holding the flat portion on the base of the miter box. It may take a few short strokes to get the cut started. Take you time and don't worry.

Q: Will this material bend for circular foot rests? If not, do you have another product for this type of application?

We used them for straight rungs. I would contact the seller to see if They will bend if placed in boiling water. Do they have ones already bent. I am answering due to Amazon asked me to reply to your question. Your question , as written, seems to be for the seller.
