Good Purchase
I'm not crazy about reviews written real soon after purchase because I think it skews the reviews to the positive as the item isn't time-tested. But I'm going to give this one a five star. I was concerned about two things common 2 under $300 equipment such as this. 1. Wobble and 2. Cheap upholstery that will fall apart over time. The first item's easy to comment on. This things built like a tank and zero wobble. On the upholstery it's comfortable enough and it seems that it will hold up but I'm no expert on upholstery. Fortunately or unfortunately there was a bushing missing from the kit. It didn't keep me from fully assembling the bench but I called customer service to get them to send me one. Scott at Body Solid picked up right away and got the mailing of the bushing in the works for me. I asked him what the expectation was on the upholstery and he said not only should have held up good but there's a lifetime warranty on the bench for home use so if it falls apart they will replace anything on the bench including the seat and back. So that took care of my second concern. Of interest is that they also rate this for light commercial use and the commercial warranty covers the frame and hardware for 3 years and the upholstery for one year. Since Body solid has been in business for 25 years I'd think that all this adds up to the likelihood that the unit will able to take any beating I can give it with my dumbbell and sit up workouts. One other thing it's kind of cool is that the bench looks great with my selecttech dumbbells 😁. After talking to Scott I really felt this was a good company that deserved a good review. Of course if the thing gives me trouble over the next months I'll be back to delete a few seconds and grouch about it. But I doubt that will happen.

Sturdy, a bit narrow at the top
Could be a bit wider at the top of bench, but very sturdy.

Solid as a Rock!!
Very sturdy and solid as a ROCK. When it came through shipping, the box had a hole in it and a piece of the equipment was sticking through. The paint got a little scuffed up, but it's in a spot where it wouldn't be visible. Assembly was a bit confusing at first, but once I figured out what was going on in the manual, it was quite simple and straightforward...Pros:1. Very Sturdy2. Seat cushions are firm, yet comfortable3. Adjustable seat and back4. Has wheels for easy moving5. Beautiful design and colorCons:1. Requires some force to get into full upright position. May need to adjust my seat.2. No handle for transporting3. Scratches on paintOverall I am happy with my purchase and I think it makes a great addition to my home gym. I was close to ordering the equivalent bench by Xmark, cause I love their quality, but judging by the reviews that I've seen, it wasn't nearly as sturdy as this Body-Solid one....

Nice and solid
Although pricey, this is a very solid bench that has no wobble at all. The adjustable angle on the seat and seat back make it easy to find the ideal positions for whatever exercises I do. I am experienced with product assembly and I put this together in about an hour using the instructions, the clearly labeled assembly hardware and my own tools. I can't get the two end caps that are supposed to cover the bolt and nut to fit, but that is a very minor problem.

I would not buy again...ever
If you intend to use this as just a bench with no leg extension then it is probably fine. I purchased it to also use it with the Body Solid leg extension, and for that it is worthless. Very poor engineering and design has created a bench that when you put the leg extension in place, and anything over 90 pounds the points where the frame bolts to the front legs will rotate. Poor engineering is putting 1 piece that has a curve (bench frame) bolted to the front legs which is tubular (round). So when you add anything over 90 pounds the bench will rotate forward as the weight is pushing down lifting the back of the bench by almost 6".Then when you take the weight off the back of the bench goes down but because the front had rotated the front portion of the legs will be off of the ground and only the 2 rubber bumpers underneath the rear portion of the legs are in contact with the floor. Since this happens the bench rocks back and forth with each rep done and would only get worse over time as this will elongate the bolt holes. Contacted Body Solid, and this is a know problem yet they are not doing nothing about correcting it. Their answer to me? Just return it where you bought it.Body Solid used to be a good company but putting out garbage like this in amazing. Someone will get hurt doing leg extensions while the bench is rocking back and forth.
